As soon as Colin got out of the car, the warm sun shone on his body. He looked up at the sun in the sky. It was late autumn already, and the gardens outside the JR Hospital were slowly transforming from green to rich shades of yellows and oranges. He raised his head, and it looked as if there was golden powder floating around in the air.

Mandy loved autumn the most.

Serge noticed the absent-minded look on Colin's face and asked with a faint smile, "What’s on your mind?"

Colin came to his senses and glanced at Serge. "It’s nothing. Aren’t you going to see Mr. Jin? You can go ahead."

Serge squinted at Colin and asked, "Aren’t you coming with me?"

Colin turned away from him and replied in a soft voice, "I’m not going upstairs."

"Are you trying to avoid someone?" Serge asked tentatively.

"Colin." With a bag of milk tea in her hand, Mandy approached Colin all of a sudden.

Colin and Serge hadn't noticed her approaching before, so the two were shocked to find her there.
