Lisa was stunned after hearing that. She hid in Mandy’s arms and wrapped her arms tightly around her neck. She looked over at Nathan before saying, "Uncle, I guess you don’t look so scary."

"Why are you scared of me then? I don’t bite," Nathan replied before he sighed in relief. After all, he was a man who was confident in his appearance.

"Lisa, don’t be scared of him. Uncle Nathan is a good man. He won’t hurt you," Mandy said gently.

Lisa nodded her head in understanding. However, she couldn’t open her heart to Nathan completely yet.

Nathan then walked up to Mandy and gently caressed her face with his slender fingers. Lisa frowned and said in a nervous tone, "Don’t… Don’t touch my mother!"

Nathan felt exasperated by her words. He struggled to contain his temper and looked at Mandy with cold eyes. Mandy stared back at him nonchalantly. She turned to Lisa and said with a gentle smile on her face, "Lisa, this uncle is a fine man!"

Nathan was comforted by Mandy’s words.
