"Ha! Don’t be so arrogant. You’ll get what’s coming to you soon." Staring at Eve, Mandy’s head ached, and her heart was filled with rage.

With a faint smile, Eve suddenly took out her phone and opened her photo album. She turned her phone around and Sharon’s face suddenly appeared on the screen.

In the photo, Sharon still had short hair. She looked at the camera with a sweet smile on her face, and her eyes shone like stars.

Mandy always thought that Sharon's eyes were so beautiful that people could not forget them. This was a photo taken by Mandy, when Sharon was in her third year of high school.

She remembered that it was taken on an afternoon when no one was around. Mandy and Sharon hid in an empty classroom to watch the sunset. At the time, Mandy had just gotten her single-lens reflex camera. When she was in school, she was part of the photography club, so she was allowed to take her camera to school. Mandy had taken several photos of Sharon. The one Eve showed to her was the most beautiful one.

All of a sudden, Mandy rushed forward to grab Eve’s phone. With her eyes wide open, she questioned fiercely, "Why do you have this photo?"

"What’s wrong? Are you surprised? Why can't I have this photo?" Eve didn’t expect for Mandy to fly in a fury. She had provoked Mandy even more.

Mandy clenched her fists and stood there without saying a word.

Eve assumed that she remained silent out of fear. A cunning light flashed through her eyes. With a playful smile she said, "How does it feel to sleep with a man who belonged to your best friend?"

"You bitch! Don’t talk nonsense!" Mandy raised her hand and fiercely slapped Eve.

Eve was caught off guard. She didn’t expect for Mandy to get physical with

Audrey. What did she do to deserve this? Mandy wouldn’t relent from now on.

Audrey had an embarrassed expression on her face. She had been caught eavesdropping.

Audrey was thinking of a way to explain herself when Mandy suddenly patted her on the shoulder and said, "Dr. Audrey, are you going to try and convince me that you were only passing by?"

Mandy’s smile was threatening. Goosebumps spread all over Audrey’s body. She held her breath and had a guilty expression on her face. She didn’t know how to explain herself.

Audrey lowered her eyes and said, "I… I..."

She had a guilty conscience, and she could only stutter in reply.

Mandy scoffed and said in a domineering tone, "Ha-ha. No need to explain yourself." She raised her chin and pointed at Eve. "Both of you are the same."

As soon as she finished speaking, Mandy left. She smoothed her long hair back and walked away from them gracefully.

Audrey blamed herself for being careless. She thought that she should’ve backed away when they finished talking. ‘Curiosity really kills the cat,’ she thought to herself. After getting caught by Mandy, she suddenly felt uncomfortable.
