Chapter 885 Your Question Means You Don't Know Him Very Well

Simon stood aside in silence. He gazed at Mandy from head to toe with intent eyes, then suddenly changed the topic of conversation, "Were you able to see the M.Pure convention yesterday?"

"I only saw bits of it. I wasn’t able to see the beginning and the end of it," Mandy shook her head and replied.

"You should've tuned in to see the ending of the M.Pure promotion convention yesterday. It was delightful! Why didn't you watch, Mandy? Simon, can you take out your cell phone and show it to my sister-in-law? Nathan confessed his love to Mandy in public yesterday!" Nacy interjected excitedly.

"Oh? He did that?" Mandy squinted her eyes. It seemed to her like she was missing something. At the moment, she was too preoccupied by the amused way Nacy and Simon spoke to her.

At Nacy’s instruction, Simon searched for the video immediately. Mandy sat down in silence and watched the video from start to finish.

At the end of the video, Nathan stood on the stage in high spirits and expressed his love to her so unabashedly in front of the cameras. Mandy suddenly burst into tears upon hearing his declaration of love.

Mandy was overwhelmed with emotion and sobs racked her entire body. Simon and Nacy were bewildered at her reaction and didn’t know how to react. They had no idea why she was crying. Shouldn’t she be happy with his romantic gesture?

"Mandy, are those tears of joy?" Nacy asked with a smile as she rubbed her arms soothingly.

"I just feel so guilty!" Mandy answered helplessly as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

If only Mandy had seen the video sooner, she wouldn't have quarreled with Nathan on the phone. She regretted her actions immediately and berated herself for being so impulsive. Ever since Nathan and she had reconciled, he had been bending over backwards for her sake. She initially thought that he only approached her to retaliate for Sharon's sake. Nathan was not the man she knew. She had misunderstood his intentions this entire time. Mandy was heartbroken and wondered when she would stop worrying so much about

ouble outside. Her parents spoiled her, and so did Nathan and I. In those years, the primary school and middle school sections of our schools were connected by an iron gate. Nacy always had a group of children following her to school. One day, when she was in the third grade, she brought her group of children to the middle school section to cause some trouble. She ended up getting beaten up by several girls in the middle school section. Nathan and I were in the sixth grade at the time. When we found out what happened to Nacy, we immediately rushed to the scene to beat up those girls." Simon smiled as he told them this story, smiling wistfully.

Mandy squinted her eyes as she listened to him, and she laughed heartily when he finished his tale. She didn't expect Nacy to be such a naughty girl as a child! "Please continue your story!" Mandy said enthusiastically.

"Those girls in middle school all had strong boyfriends, and they were much taller than us, but Nathan and I were fearless! We fought them off with our bare hands. Nathan had been learning taekwondo since he was a child, so he got very good at fighting. He gave those girls and their boyfriends a good beating! But of course, we were also seriously wounded!" Simon continued his story.

"Didn’t the director of the teaching department discipline you after all the fighting?" Mandy asked curiously.
