Chapter 876 Broken Marriage

That night, it was her turn on duty again. Somehow she already had enough that day. Angelina was on her last trimester by then, and sitting in an office for long periods had started to become a chore. Luckily, one of her co-workers agreed to take some work off her shoulders. In return, she would help him out once she returned to work after giving birth.

Angelina was thankful that someone in the cardiology department kindly took over her shift. Her colleague was able to immediately respond to her request and got to the hospital rather quickly.

Angelina hailed a taxi and went straight home.

As Angelina arrived home, she went straight to her bedroom. There, she caught her husband being intimate with another man. All of a sudden, she was overflown with emotions and felt rather insane. She was beginning to lose control, and her body trembled.

The man was particularly enjoying her husband. Her husband's paramour moaned with every stroke. That picture reminded Angelina of the few times she actually had sex with her husband.

"What the… What the hell are you guys doing?" Angelina said furiously, her eyes burning in anger.

Her husband's friend blushed and tucked away his face. The guy was too feminine for Angelina's taste.

At that moment, something sunk in with her. She realized that she was being cheated on. She never thought such a thing would happen to her. Angelina was enraged. She reached a point where she thought of killing those shameless men.

On the other hand, her husband was rather calm. With much indifference, the man said, "What do you think we're doing? We're making love! Can't you see that?"

Angelina used to think that her husband had a sliver of shame in his system, but she could not be more wrong. The lady gnashed her teeth with hatred.

"Don't you even feel a little disgusted?" Angelina's fingers trembled as she pointed at the naked couple on the bed.

Angelina felt pathetic.

Her incompetence had put her in that situation. If only she had the money to support her father and to raise her child; if only she did not need her husband's fortune, Angelina knew she would not be in that situation.

Others saw her as a really strong woman, for she had always worked hard. No one really ever knew why she worked so much.

Angelina's bitterness was finally realized. She had kept and agonized over that secret for eight years. She had kept the act going. Everyone regarded her husband highly, even the man's superiors. Twistedly enough, her husband had an affair with the heir to the company.

She just happened to know those things. No wonder her husband's career took off, that affair surely built the man's success.

Over the years, Angelina had learned much more. Her husband's boyfriend was actually married as well. Unlike Angelina, the other woman came from a prominent family. The other was married with a gay man in order to expand their family business.

Being trapped in the drama, she could build a chaotic world around her if she wanted to.

Angelina envied other couples. It was so hard to find true love. The only reason that was preventing her from giving up this broken marriage was money!
