Chapter 664 A Fake Divorce

Mandy finally smiled too. She realized that her child had recovered really well. Once Adrian had his share of a good night's sleep, he woke up in a good mood as if everything was over. But for adults, such incidents never leave the mind. Only if they could remain child-like for the rest of their lives, happiness would not be so far-fetched!

"Adrian, do you like going to kindergarten?" Mandy asked indulgently.

"Oh, yes! I love kindergarten. I have so many friends there!" Adrian jumped up and down gleefully. He looked up and stared deep into Mandy's big eyes.

Nathan unlocked the back door and let Adrian walk in. He too felt cheerful when he saw that Adrian was happy.

After Adrian left for school, Mandy got in the car, going with Nathan to the company.

She finally got the chance to switch on her phone. She was busy the whole morning and did not get a moment's time to check her phone. By now, the news of Nacy's miscarriage was viral on the internet.

"Nathan, listen to me. Nacy had a miscarriage! Did you know that?" Mandy blurted out even before she read the whole story.

Nathan immediately turned the steering wheel so sharply that the tires screeched loudly, and then he hit on the braked with full force.

"What did you just say? Nacy had a miscarriage?" His beautiful face was shadowed, and he suddenly seemed to become stone-cold.

"Yes, apparently. Didn't you know?" She turned her gaze to Nathan. His jaws were tight, and he had a severe expression on his face. It didn't seem like he had had any idea about all this.

"Mandy, we have been living together these past few days. Wouldn't I tell you if I knew this? Anyway, when did this happen?" Nathan's face became gloomy. He silently put his hands on the steering wheel.

"I have no idea. Let's just go to Nacy's. We can check on her!"

"Okay." They took the next intersection and headed towards Haibin Road.

"Brother, I want you to stay out of it completely. I will investigate it on my own."

"Investigate, how?" Nathan's anger was showing up by now as he stared coldly at his sister.

"I have got in touch with a skilled perfume maker. If I get hold of this perfume, the perfume maker will analyze the contents of it for me," answered Nacy with a sense of achievement.

"Then what about the divorce?"

"It's fake. It's just to get Bonnie hooked," answered Nacy.

Mandy saw flashbacks of the incident when she was pushed into the lake by Jennifer three years ago. It was the worst period of her life. She felt completely defeated and thought that there was no way out. But it changed, and God had other plans for her.

"Nacy, come let us go for a walk. It not the best decision to be at home all day with so much going on." Mandy stretched her hand out gracefully to Nacy as she stood up
