Chapter 636 Let Life Be Beautiful Like Summer Flowers

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Fiona squinted her eyes and bit her lips, grieving. She curled and uncurled her fingers, lost in thought. After a few moments of silence, she scratched her hair and said, "I am just telling the truth. She is better than me in every way." A pitiful look flashed across her face.

"Since she is so perfect, why don't you just let me be hers?" Ethon questioned, angrily. He felt a little betrayed.

"That is not going to happen. I will not let her steal you from me," Fiona replied, seriously. Her slender fingers stroked Ethon's face.

His cold face lit up with a warm smile. He pulled her close and held her tightly. "Good, because I am yours whether you like it or not," Ethon said.

"In that case, if I ever run out of money in the future, I can just sell you." Fiona grinned from ear to ear.

Ethon leaned over. "It's okay if you sell me. Just don't forget to make sure it is Fiona who buys me," he said in mock anger.

"I can't afford you," she replied. Her eyes twinkled with happiness.

"But, Fiona can because I only cost one cent."

Fiona sighed in Ethon's embrace as she took in the fresh smell of body wash emanating off his muscular body. She looked up at him, and their eyes met, igniting a fiery desire to touch.

The entire night, they stayed in each other's arms. They didn't fall asleep until dawn.

Nacy had just been discharged from the hospital, and Simon was accompanying her home. Even though the conflict between them had been resolved, she was still mourning the death of her child.

In the study, she was browsing through the book collection when her gaze landed on a collection of poems by Rabindranath Tagore. The title, 'Let Life Be Beautiful Like Summer Flowers' made her contemplate her own life.

"I hear love, I believe in love.

Love is

ut me." Nacy shook her head, and her eyes were filled with tears.

Simon felt sorry for her. He had never seen her like this. It seemed that the death of the baby had been a blow to her heart.

"Honey, I will take care of everything for you. You do need some time alone but, we do not need to get a divorce for that. We just need to go to the Marriage Bureau, and have some reporter post the news."

"But, what if Bonnie investigates?" asked Nacy.

"She won't," Simon replied firmly.

"I really don't want to wait any longer. I feel really bad." Nacy kept a straight face but then frowned.

"Nacy, don't worry. Let's just wait for two more weeks. How can I assure you that you will be alright?" Simon asked sincerely. Nacy could sense the plea in his voice.

She closed her eyes in anguish and moved closer to Simon. Her eyelashes trembled as her tears threatened to fall. 'Should I really get a divorce from him?' she wondered.

"Simon, will you abandon me after we get a divorce?" Nacy opened her eyes immediately after asking.

Simon knew her well enough to know what she wanted to hear. He replied instantly, "I have loved you for so many years. How could I abandon you?"
