Chapter 622 Apologize To My Wife

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Mandy turned her head and looked outside the window. The moon was a warm milky glow high up in the sky, illuminating the city along with the millions of stars around it. Below, the breeze cradled little waves on the sea, several fishing boats studded the water, and a lighthouse stood towering on a rocky shore in the distance.

The scene was like the poetry of stars, lights, and sea that blanketed the evening with serenity.

A tender smile drew on Mandy's face. With her chin resting on one hand, she allowed the view to serenade her. She did not notice the stare of the man sitting in front of her.

Nathan had lost sight of all others. For him, Mandy was more heart-stopping than the scenery outdoors. He was used to seeing her bare-faced, but now she was dolled up and wearing a red dress. She was like a sweet red poppy blooming in the night with spellbinding beauty.

Her hair pulled up into a tousled bun, and her makeup was so light that it almost looked natural save for the vivid grapefruit color that painted her lips. From every angle, she looked lovely.

Mandy was still gazing dreamily at the seascape when she finally sensed a pair of searing eyes pinned upon her. She came back to her senses, turned around, and met the gleaming eyes of Nathan.

"Why are you staring at me?" She was a little embarrassed. She dropped her head, and a gentle flush of pink rose in her cheeks.

"You are my wife. I can stare at you all I want," Nathan said, his thin lips curving into a small tender smile.

Soon, all their orders arrived, and tempting platters spread before them. Mandy and Nathan ate slowly, savoring their food. Out of nowhere, a young man rapped at his table and called, "Waiter! Come here!"

The voice was so loud and distracting that it ruined Mandy's cocoon of peace. Her brows knitted as she turned to look where the sound came from.

A staff m

re blocking some of the lights. His eyes burned as Mandy continued taunting him.

Mandy remained still, unblinking against the onslaught. She scrutinized him with eyes full of coldness and sarcasm. She found him good-looking with fair skin, just like a guy who works in a night club. Unluckily for him, a pretty face was not going to get him out of the fuss he created.

"Are you not embarrassed? You must be dreaming of having free meals every day! Don't you know what shame is?"

"Bitch!" His eyes widened for a second before narrowing in fury. The woman did point out most of his thoughts. He raised his fist in an overwhelming urge to strike her.

Nathan acted fast. He grabbed the hand and executed a wrist lock in less than three seconds. It was so painful that the man cried out.

"Watch your mouth. Apologize to my wife now." Nathan stared at him, icily. His severe aura was almost fatal.

"I'm… I'm sorry." The man's face was ashen as he trembled with pain, feeling like his bones were about to break.

"Is that an apology? You think saying sorry is enough?" Nathan spoke slowly with an air of finality mingled in his words.

"If an apology works, why didn't you stop earlier?" Mandy glared. She hated this kind of trash the most!
