A warm feeling swept across her body. Mandy couldn't help but shrink back. The stubble on his chin rubbed against her white neck.

"Not now." Mandy pushed him away. She was already taking her medicine, and her doctor had clearly warned her to not try anything. It seemed that he was already having a hard time restraining himself.

Nathan groaned as he rubbed against her. Her soft breasts rubbed against his chest.

"Let's have another baby—our Seven," he said lowly. His magnetic voice increased Mandy's arousal as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Dr. Chen has already said that we shouldn't do it now," Mandy whispered, pushing him back.

Nathan finally stopped, as if he had just woken up from a dream. He lay down helplessly, his hands running down her waist. "Fine, let's wait till you recover."

"And if it takes half a year?" she teased. "Will you go somewhere else?"

"I won't ever leave you." Nathan tightened his grip around her.

The air around them was filled with ambiguity. The sun was already burning outside, but the chemistry between them was even hotter.

Mandy flushed, glancing at the clock on the wall. It was already past eight o' clock. 'Why hasn't the nurse come to change the gauze?'

"Why hasn't the nurse come to change the gauze?" She frowned and got off the bed.

Nathan raised his eyebrows. "You locked the door yourself last night. How could the nurse get in?"

"Oh, crap! I completely forgot about it." Mandy stood up almost immediately at the thought. She had already asked the nurse not to enter without her permission.

The nurse must've been so terrified that she didn't dare come in.

wed his eyes, placing a piece of fried egg on Mandy's plate.

Simon sighed. "Don't show off your love so much. I'm not in the mood for it."

"I've been separated from Nathan for so many years. What's the big deal with showing off? If you're that jealous, you could go get some love from Nacy. Speaking of her, where is she?" Mandy frowned, trying to look for her friend.

"We fought last night, and I don't even know why." Simon sighed, frustrated at the turnout of events.

"What happened? She's a married woman, and she still has an awful temper. You've spoiled her too much, Simon," Nathan instructed, but he quickly backed up at his wife's stare.

"Of course, Mandy's an exception. Nacy has always been bad-tempered. Whoever pisses her off would be in for a packet filled with trouble."

Simon gave him a dissatisfied look. 'The last one I'd be getting love advice from now would be you. If you didn't spoil your own wife, Mandy wouldn't have left you three years ago, ' he thought.

A woman could do absolutely everything in her will as long as she had a strong man backing her up.
