Chapter 579 Are You The Only Woman In The World Who Could Give Birth

"Nacy, how are you feeling lately? Are you feeling well?" Mandy pulled a chair closer for Nacy. She was genuinely concerned.

"I am feeling better today. I've been in a bad mood these past few days, and I often lost my calm. But Simon has been treating me gently. The doctor said the baby can be saved." Nacy placed her hand on her flat stomach as if she could not wait for it to swell up. The thought of becoming a mother truly excited her.

"That's good to hear. Have a good rest. By the way, I still haven't told anyone about Nathan's situation. Don't tell uncle and aunt about it, ok? He wouldn't want them to worry. Can you take care of Adrian for me for a few days, Nacy?"

Actually, it was Nathan's idea to keep his situation from the public. First, he didn't want to stir up any trouble for the whole Jin Family. Second, he didn't want the staff of JS International to gossip about him. Lastly, he simply wanted Mandy all to himself, even for just a few days.

"No problem. But what should I say if Adrian asks about it?" Nacy always did her best to think in advance. Adrian was an extremely smart kid, and Nacy knew that a normal excuse would not fool him.

"Tell him we are away on a business trip. And that we will be home in a couple of days." Nathan looked so handsome whenever he smiled. His mood was as bright as the sun that shone through the window.

Mandy's presence made him forget about the world of painful he was in. Making up with Mandy had made Nathan very happy. It was really nice to have Mandy by his side, especially in such dire moments.

"Brother, do you know how long until you'll be discharged from the hospital? Adrian might throw a tantrum if you stayed away for too long." Nacy's eyebrows wrinkled. Ever since Adrian had returned home, Nathan had almost always been beside the kid. Whenever Nathan was on a business trip abroad, he would always make a video call to him every day. Adrian really needed to have that much attention because of his experiences as a toddler.

"Three days," Mandy said.

"A week," Nathan said.

"Sorry, I don't want to hear anything from you. My husband is about to get off work. I have to go." Nacy managed to keep a straight face, despite Bonnie's nauseating musky perfume.

The word 'husband' triggered Bonnie's sensibilities. Bonnie could have been Simon's wife if not for Nacy, who meddled in their relationship.

Bonnie gritted her teeth in anger. Her face grew pale and looked like some color palette. "You've been married for three years, how have you managed not to get pregnant? Don't you guys know how to have a baby?"

"Ha-ha... You're so funny, Bonnie. Do you think you are the only woman in the world who can give birth to a baby?" Nacy squinted her eyes to signal her distaste. She didn't know where Bonnie got the confidence to confront her!

"You'd better give birth to a baby boy, just like your sister-in-law. Simon will surely love your baby, just as long as it is a boy." Bonnie stared at Nacy with an awkward smile.

"Humph, what a joke... My husband will love our child, no matter what," Nacy snuffed as she rolled her eyes with disdain.

"It doesn't work if your husband likes a baby girl. After all, the approval of the baby's grandparents matters the most. Nacy Jin, you better wish for a son." Bonnie's sharp voice was full of sarcasm. In the back of her mind, Bonnie wished that Nancy would bear a little girl.
