Chapter 571 You Finally Agreed To be With Me

He was usually very clear-headed and calm, especially when it came to women. However, there was just something about Fiona that sent him off into anxiety.

"Tina and I aren't friends anymore," she admitted sullenly. She still couldn't believe that her friendship with Tina would suddenly come to an end.

"What happened?"

"She framed me for drug trafficking when we went to a bar. She's also a lover to an old married man. I wanted to help her, but it seemed that her perception of right and wrong has become flawed." Fiona sneered, shaking her head.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Ethon took her hand in his.

"It's fine. I was careless in making friends like that. From now on, I'll only think of her as a dog that I had spent six years raising. She's dead to me," she said firmly. Fiona didn't withdraw her hand.

"Would you like to be with me?" Ethon finally straightened his back as he stared into her eyes.

Now that their misunderstanding had finally been cleared up, a part of him was confident that she would finally be with him.

Mandy walked into the living room. She couldn't help but smile at the scene.

"Dad, mom, Adrian," she greeted them politely.

"Mand, I'm so glad that you're here. Take a seat." Daisy smiled. She didn't have the normal arrogance other ladies had when they came from rich families. In fact, she was incredibly approachable.

"Mom, I've missed you so much!" At the sight of Mandy, Adrian rushed into her arms.

Daisy shook her head with a smile. 'This naughty boy just forgets us when he sees his own mother, and we've treated him so well.'

Mandy touched his smooth face. "Adrian, did you behave well?"

Nodding obediently, Adrian wrapped his arms around her neck. "Yes! I've been a good boy."

"What you say doesn't count. I'll have to ask Grandma."

"Grandma, did I behave well these days?" Adrian winked at Daisy as he beamed at the elderly couple.

"Honey, you're the best," Daisy answered with a doting smile.

"Mommy, where is daddy? Why didn't he come with you?" Adrian frowned, disappointed that his father wasn't with her.
