'Miss Zhou, why won't you answer my calls?' Harley thought, sighing.

Seeing as he couldn't get through to Mandy's phone anymore, he found Morry's number in his contact list and called her instead.

Morry yawned and picked up the phone, half asleep. She hadn't slept well for the past few nights. In fact, she'd been extremely busy with the divorce case that Nathan had slapped Mandy with.

"Who is this?" she demanded, rubbing her forehead.

"Are you still sleeping?" Harley asked, glancing at his watch. It was just half past six. No wonder she couldn't recognize his voice.

"Cut the crap. What do you want? If you're just calling to ask some bullshit question, I'll hang up," Morry snapped. She wasn't much of a morning person.

"Mr. Yu's in the hospital."

"What? What the hell happened? Why is he in the hospital?" Morry finally sat up, coming to her senses.

"He had drunk more than thirty bottles of wine last night. He lost a lot of blood," he quickly explained, shaking his head. Until now, he still couldn't believe that the mighty man he used to see had now been reduced to a drinking mess.

"Shit. Where's Mand? Where did she go? What the hell's wrong with him?" Morry shot him multiple questions. She hurriedly got out of bed to put on her clothes. At the thought of Colin in the hospital, she couldn't help but panic.

"They've divorced." Harley sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"What the hell? And when did that happen?" She sighed irritably. Why was she the last person to know about these things? She glanced at the files toppled all over her desk. She had been working all night on those files for a case that didn't exist now.

"Two days ago."

"Which hospital is he in? Text me the address. I'll head over there now."

The sun wa

ce. Without another word, he kissed her right on the lips.

Her face was flushed red from the intimate contact. She pushed him away and sat up from the bed. She wiped her lips as if she had just been molested. "Don't you need to go to work?" she said shakily.

"It's still early." There was something about his voice that sent shivers down her spine.

"I... I still have work to do at the Commemorate Seven Charity Fund." Making up an excuse, Mandy tried to distance herself from the man lying beside her.

"Do you really hate me that much?" Nathan asked suddenly before sitting up from the bed. He stared at her coldly.

"It's not what you think," she started.

Although Mandy wanted to explain it, she couldn't help but feel herself hesitating in her heart. She didn't know what was making her feel this way. Generally speaking, she and Colin were over now, and she was already legally married to Nathan. Why was it still so awkward?

It seemed that they were still unable to get back to where they used to be three years ago. They both knew that they missed each other, but it was hard for them to adjust to the life that they had now from the one that they used to have.
