Chapter 497 A Married Woman

Whenever Mandy saw Adrian's face, she couldn't help but think back to the child who they had lost three years ago. If the child was still alive, he must be as old as Adrian.

"Have you ever thought of our son for at least a second?" she asked coldly.

Nathan kept silent. He still hadn't told Mandy that Adrian was their son. He was stubborn that way—he didn't want their son to be a bargaining chip. He wanted Mandy to come back to him willingly.

"So what? What if I haven't?" he scoffed.

Mandy sneered, turning away. 'Why am I not surprised? When has he ever cared?' she thought.

"Look, what do you want?" She dropped the topic.

"You could be put in jail for two years because of bigamy. Do you want to undergo that, or do you want to divorce Colin?" He finally cut to the chase. The caring and adoring father was gone from his eyes; instead, he was replaced with indifference and formalities.

"I didn't know that you haven't submitted the divorce agreement to the court during those years. Besides, we've already met the requirements for couples going through a divorce. We've already been separated for two years. I'll tell my lawyer to present the evidence in court." She waved her hand dismissively. "But I am curious about one thing."

"What is it?"

"I'm already married to Colin. In fact, we already have a child. Mr. Jin, you're already surrounded by tons of beautiful women, so why do you keep coming after me? Do you really want to hook up with a married woman?" she asked snidely.

'Even if you didn't give me permission, I'll still be out of here!' Mandy thought.

"See you." She waved her hand.

Once she finally walked out of the apartment, Mandy sighed in relief, as if the burden on her heart had been lifted. She shook her head and continued to walk.

Fiona was sitting on her chair with a heavy heart. Although Ethon was texting her on WeChat, she replied very slowly, as if she was trying to ignore him.

When her phone rang, she quickly answered.

"Nana, what are you doing now?" Tina's voice sounded from the other end of the line.
