"I know. I promise I won't disturb you. I just want to watch you quietly." Sharon blinked mischievously and raised her right hand to swear.

Hearing this, Nathan's heart softened. Under the circumstance, he had no choice but to agree.

Truth be told, he ardently wanted to spend some time talking with her. And now that an opportunity had presented itself, he thought he had to take it. After all, he could unravel and rectify all the misunderstandings that were going on.

When Nathan returned home, Mandy had just finished taking a bath. She walked out of the bathroom and went straight to him. Suddenly, she smelled a strong perfume on him. A frown appeared on her face. She sniffed again to ensure she hadn't mistaken it. She was familiar with this smell, for it was No. 5 Chanel, which was Sharon's favorite perfume.

She put her hands around Nathan's neck, squinted shrewdly and asked, "Nathan, did you do something bad behind my back?"

"How dare I?" Nathan looked at her tiredly and smiled.

Mandy squinted at him and said, "But you smell like Sharon!"

The scene of Sharon kissing him flashed through Nathan's mind. He suddenly froze and replied in a low voice, "I was in the car with her, Mandy. We sat together in such a closed space. It is no surprise if I smell like her."

"Nathan, after abstaining from sex for so long, are you finding it hard?" Mandy lowered her head and sniffed his chest. The smell of the perfume was way too strong! Even though she didn't want to doubt him, the proof was in front of her.

"What are you trying to say?" Nathan frowned unpleasantly. But deep down, he was clutched by guilt.

"What do you think I am trying to say? Nathan, you aren't going to cheat on me, are you?" Although she had proof before her, she believed him too. Slowly, she smiled, letting him know she was just messing with him.

"Stop talking nonsense, or I will eat you up!" Nathan bowed down and carried her to the bed.

"Ha-ha... I got it. Nathan, I was just kidding. You are my husband, and Sharon is my best friend. How could you two have an affair?"

Nathan put Mandy onto the bed, covered her with a quilt, and tucked her messy hair behind her ears. He dotingly smiled and said, "It's a pity that you don't writ

tely took his phone out of his pocket and dialed Fred's number. "Fred, arrange another room for me," he instructed.

"Nathan!" She grabbed his arm, and her voice had a tinge of urgency.

Fred walked into the room immediately and was stunned on seeing Sharon on Nathan's lap. For a second, he thought he was invading their privacy; however, Nathan pushed Sharon away from him.

"You can stay here tonight. But I will ask someone to take you back tomorrow." After saying that, Nathan's gloomy face showed no trace of sorrow or joy. He strode out of the room resolutely.

After he left, Sharon clenched her teeth in anger and slammed the door. She stamped her feet in rage, and her beautiful face was full of gloom.

Nathan returned from the business trip after three days.

Mandy was lazily taking a nap on the bed. After being nourished so well in the past few months, she was in a much better physical condition. She looked a lot chubbier than she did before. And her belly kept on getting bigger.

She pulled open the curtains, and the sunlight entered, warming the whole room. While she was sitting in front of the window and basking in the sun, she heard the sound of the car engine. It signaled that Nathan had returned!

Mandy excitedly stood up, leaning on the window to confirm it was actually him. Nathan was in a black suit, and his hair was shining. She saw him striding towards the villa. Squinting her eyes, she caught sight of him taking a silver suitcase from the trunk.
