Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"What happened? Why are you throwing up like this? Is it because of something you ate?" Nathan asked worriedly. The thought of Mandy being pregnant never occurred to him.

Lillian walked in with a glass of warm water. Mandy sipped the water, and her stomach seemed to finally calm down.

"Miss Zhou, are you pregnant?" Lillian asked happily.

"I ... Err ..." Mandy bit her lips and was about to say something but decided against it.

"Let's go to the hospital and have a check-up," Nathan said, shaking his head fiercely.

Mandy's heart was thrumming loudly. She became anxious when she saw Nathan ignore Lillian's words. She couldn't help but worry if he did not like children.

He frowned at Mandy, who seemed to be in a daze. He quickly bent down to pick her up, but Mandy pushed his hand and stepped backward.

"What's wrong? Mandy, you are unwell. You need to see a doctor." Nathan's frown deepened as he grabbed Mandy's wrist. Mandy had been weak lately. She was always sleepy and hardly ate anything.

"I'm fine, Nathan." She shook Nathan's hand off and took another sip of water before walking out of the bathroom.

"Let's go to the hospital," Nathan said sternly as he was annoyed by Mandy's stubbornness.

Mandy stepped back and flinched at the sight of Nathan's face that had turned red with anger.

"Mand, you know that I don't like it when you are careless about your health," Nathan hissed through his teeth.

"I am careful about my health, Nathan. I'm fine." Mandy averted her gaze to the ground and bit her lips, looking guilty.

"Fine! You don't have to come to the hospital. I'll call Dr. Chen here." Nathan was puzzled by Mandy's behavior. He did not know what she was adamant about.

"You don't have to. I'm a doctor too, I know my health. I'm fine. Nothing is wrong with me!" Mandy croaked. She was looking defeated. How long could she hide her pregnancy from him?

"Mandy, why don't you listen to me for once? What the hell are you so stubborn about?" Nathan na

ly become her favorite ones now.

"Okay, I'll do it right away." Lillian wiped her hands on the apron and smiled happily.

Nathan was sitting on the sofa with one arm around Mandy's shoulder with a contented smile on his face. The happiness was overwhelming, and Mandy sniffed loudly. But she couldn't shake off the worry that had taken root in her heart.

"Nathan, there's something I need to tell you." Mandy bit her lips and hesitated for a moment.

"Yeah, what is it?"

"Umm... the doctor said that...err...I had a lot of contraceptives during my previous period. The baby is likely to have a congenital malformation because of that." She bit her lips nervously. "She suggested that I abort this child," Mandy said hurriedly as she saw the smile on Nathan's face disappear instantly. His whole body was tense, and his jaw tightened.

"What else did she say?" Nathan asked coldly.

"Err ... She said that even if the baby is born, it might not be in good health." Mandy swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat.

"Damn those contraceptives!" Nathan cursed in a low voice. His face was a shade of red.

"But I'm not going to give up easily, Nathan. I'm not going to get rid of our child. I will safely give birth to the baby. Our child won't develop any kind of illness," Mandy said, shaking her head fiercely.
