Chapter 366 An Awkward Encounter

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Fiona and Ethon had become closer with every passing day. They met each other every day and had become good friends. But Fiona knew that the feelings she had for Ethon were beyond friendship.

She reminded herself that she couldn't fall in love at such a young age. She was in Grade Three, which was a crucial stage that would determine her career. She had to concentrate on her studies and not let her mind wander anywhere else. But her mind was not under her control. Sometimes she would think about something he said or did and laugh to herself. Her heart was always yearning for him even though she could see him every day.

Fiona snapped from her thoughts when her phone blinked with a message. It was from Ethon. "Are you awake?''

Her heart was pounding fast, and her stomach did a little flip like it always did when she was around Ethon. A subtle blush crept on her cheeks as she grabbed her phone and replied immediately, "Yep."

Her phone instantly chimed with a message. "Are you free tomorrow? Do you want to watch a movie with me?" Ethon had been debating whether to ask her out on a date or not. He had finally mustered the strength and slyly asked her out without calling it a date.

"Okay!" Ethon's face beamed when he saw Fiona's message. He couldn't stop grinning.

"Where do you live? I'll pick you up in the morning."

She sent her address and continued to chat with Ethon. They were texting all night and drifted off to sleep early in the morning.

The sun was blazing in the morning, but the wind was howling, carrying a chillness with it. It was September, and City A always became cold around this time of the year.

Mandy was standing in front of the cloakroom while her finger rested on her chin. Her curious eyes peered at the array of clothes aligned in front of her. Nathan had ordered his men to remove Mandy's summer clothes and replace them with cozy, autumn clothes. The lavish cloakroom emanated the aura of an opulent mall. Nathan had picked expensive, trendy outfits from top brands in the market.

Mandy pursed her lips and knitted her eyebrows in confusion. She seemed to love every outfit and was not sure about which one to pick.

his gaze to Mandy. He knew that Mandy was Fiona's elder sister, and he wanted to be on his best behavior.

"Nana, come to the washroom with me," Mandy said coldly as she motioned at Fiona to follow her.

Fiona bit her lip as she knew that she was in trouble. Mandy wouldn't give her an easy time after seeing her with a boy at the movie theater. She wondered what her sister was going to do.

Mandy dragged Fiona to a quiet place and looked around to see if no one was watching them.

"Nana, what are you doing here with Ethon? Is he your boyfriend?" Mandy asked sternly. Mandy and Daniel had been in a dubious relationship during high school. Although Fiona's situation was different, she did not want her sister to be trapped by love. Everything was beautiful at her age. Mandy didn't want Fiona to get distracted by love and lose her concentration on her studies. Fiona was in Grade Three, which was a crucial time in her life.

Fiona shook her head fiercely and began to fidget with her fingers nervously. She bit her lips and said, "Mandy, I'm not in love with him. It's not what you think."

"You better not think about love, Nana. I'm not against love; all I'm saying is that it is not the time for you to fall in love. I want you to study hard and get into a good college. You can date whomever you want after that." Mandy smiled and caressed Fiona's cheek affectionately.

"Don't worry. I won't let you down." Fiona grinned happily.
