"I didn't expect that we had known each other for such a long time." There was a smile on Bruce's fair face, and this time he smiled deeply.

"I just came to know about it a few days back. So now you understand. Bruce, maybe we are destined to be together. After I returned home, I always urged my parents to look for you. But even after so many years of searching, we still couldn't find you. And now, after more than ten years, we meet again." Nacy laughed exuberantly, and her eyes sparkled with joy. She was so cute that Bruce got attracted to her.

Bruce remembered that day clearly as if it happened yesterday. That day, Bruce had been downtown to play with other kids of his age. He had grown up there. It was the place where his mother ran a seafood business. The street was every bit as crowded as it used to be. His mother gave him one dollar and asked him to buy cakes. And just before he arrived at the cake shop, his eyes had fallen on a little girl dressed in a princess dress.

However, despite being a ten-year-old himself, Bruce was sensible and mature enough to realize that the little girl had lost her parents. Then, he voluntarily walked over to her.

At that moment, Nacy had been very scared. After she got lost, Nacy didn't even have the courage to say anything to anyone. Bruce approached her and just sat beside her quietly.

They sat together in that way for a long time. As time passed, the absence of her parents made little Nacy grow more and more anxious. Waiting for a long time for her parents to come back to her, Nacy was almost on the verge of tears. Bruce didn't like girls to cry. So he took her to buy a balloon.

Bruce remembered that he tried a lot to talk to Nacy at that moment, but she had only ignored him. Her teacher had taught her not to talk to strangers or eat food from strangers. Hence, she refrained from exchanging words with him. However, she accepted the balloon given by him.

Almost about two hours later, Kevin and Sarah were seen coming out of a black commercial vehicle. As soon as Nacy caught a glance of them, she ran towards them.

Although Bruce was only ten years old at that time, he still recognized that the couple who

e her back to his villa, but he wanted to leave a good impression on his future parents-in-law. Hence, he controlled his desires and allowed Mandy to be with her parents.

At the time when Nacy called, Mandy was talking with Nathan on the phone. While they were having a good time, Mandy happened to notice Nacy's call. She said goodbye to Nathan and then answered Nacy's call.

"Nacy, what makes you stay up so late?" Her call at such an unearthly hour made Mandy a little curious.

Mandy had met Nacy last time at the hospital. At that time, Nacy had wanted to end their friendship. Mandy remembered that clearly. Though they somehow made it up, they didn't talk about it anymore.

"Yes. I have something to tell you," on the other side of the phone, Nacy said with a contented smile. In fact, her heart was still brimming. With her eyes pooling up with tears, she stared at the crystal lights on the ceiling and felt warm.

"Okay, what is it?" Mandy sat up on the bed with her spine erect. In fact, she was feeling a little sleepy by then. Yet she tried to be alert as Nacy wanted to say something to her.

"Please forget what I said to you at the hospital. Mandy, to be honest, I like you very much. At that time, I was just jealous of your relationship with Bruce. And…And those words just came out of my mouth out of impulse...Please forgive me," Nacy said tilting her head and making a sorry face as if Mandy could see her gesture at the moment.
