Chapter 294 Photos Exposed

"Miss... Isn't she Damian's girlfriend?" Sue raised her eyebrows amidst the shock, trying her best to relieve the situation.

"It's just a misunderstanding. I had a fight with Mand, and things got complicated." Nathan sighed, shaking his head. The light shone on his face, emphasizing his jawline. "I'll explain it later, Grandma, Grandpa. I want to marry her."

Everyone fell silent as they tried to process the scene that was unfolding in front of them.

Henry kept silent, glancing over at the two.

Nathan was his favorite grandson, so of course, he loved him. However, what he just said, what he had just done, it must've placed Eve in a very awkward situation. His lips tightened in a thin line.

However, when he tried to look at Eve, he found that she was already nowhere to be seen. His face darkened with worry. Where was she?

The bell rang, echoing across the castle. It was midnight now.

As Nathan's words repeated in her mind, Mandy was frozen into place, stunned that he didn't even ask her the question. She looked up at him, gaping like a fish out of water.

There was a certain seriousness written all over Nathan's face. It made his angular look more prominent under the artificial lighting. There was a saying, how a man would look his best when he was serious, it was only then that Mandy understood the meaning.

At the end of the last bell, the light in the hall suddenly went out. Silence echoed through the halls, and Henry looked up. Usually, there would be a surprise for the birthday man.

A large screen was rolled on the east side of the hall, designed for the large projector that would show Henry's life through the years. It was scheduled to be before the cutting of the cake, the last event of the night.

Everyone held their breath as they looked up at the big screen, waiting in anticipation.

Eve? That bitch must've done it!" Nacy glanced around, trying to find Eve in the crowd. Obviously, the woman must've run away after revealing such photos.

At that moment, two waiters ran up to Henry bowing their heads. "My Lord, Miss Su came to the projection room and sent us away," one spoke, his voice trembling. "I'm so sorry, sir. So sorry..."

Nathan clenched his fists, glaring at the two waiters.

"Nacy," Eve warned.

Although she and Mandy hadn't reconciled yet, Nacy still couldn't help but sympathize with her. She didn't want to kick her when she was down.

She hated the fact that her banquet was destroyed due to such a scandal being displayed in her own home! Although it would not spread, she still couldn't help but be utterly humiliated in front of her guests. "The Jin Family has its own reputation to uphold."

Mandy licked her lips.
