Chapter 268 Tell His Mother

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Daisy wondered what Mandy was doing with Damian when she was in a relationship with Nathan. She pursed her lips, trying to study Mandy's expression. "Aunt Daisy, Mand and Nathan are not right for each other. They are not together anymore. It's common for lovers to break up these days," Damian said, interrupting her reverie.

Daisy couldn't help but think about the reason for their breakup. Was it because they were incompatible? She felt that it was just an excuse. Mandy's worried expression clearly stated that she didn't like Damian. She seemed uncomfortable with him.

Daisy fell silent. Those silent seconds seemed like an eternity to Mandy.

"Yes, it's common for lovers to break up," Daisy finally said, taking another sip of coffee.

"Mandy and I are seeing each other now. But Nathan is wreaking havoc for Mandy's friends. I hope you'll be able to help us in this regard, Aunty." Damian looked at Daisy with expectant eyes.

"Miss Zhou? Did you dump Nathan?" Daisy's eyes were glinting with admiration and respect. She wondered how Mandy had managed to put up with her son all these days.

Daisy and Jason were both kind-hearted and soft-spoken. She couldn't understand the reason behind Nathan's temperament. Daisy had even considered taking a paternity test to find out if Nathan was her son or not. She finally gave up the idea when Nathan grew up to become the spitting image of his father. God only knew whose traits Nathan had inherited to turn into an arrogant young man.

Although Nathan was her dear son, Daisy couldn't tolerate his temper. He had always been rude and moody.

"Yes," Mandy answered, looking awkward.

Damian held Mandy's hand reassuringly, which made her feel better.

"Nathan has a bad temper. I understand what you mean, Damian. I'll talk to him about it." Daisy pursed her lips and peered at Mandy's face as if trying to read her mind.

Daisy grew fond of

an, you're an adult. I haven't had to worry much about you, even when you were a little child. You've become arrogant and rude with age. Do you remember the last time you came home? You haven't bothered to visit us and see how we have been doing. Don't even think about telling me that you're busy with work. That's just a damn excuse."

Nathan breathed a sigh of relief when he heard his mother complain about him not visiting home often. But her angry eyes said something else. He realized that things were not as simple as that.

"Mom, it's true. I'm busy with work, I swear," Nathan waved his right hand and promised.

"Oh, come on, stop blaming your work! I don't think work is stopping you. Your relationship is keeping you busy, isn't it?" Daisy sneered and rolled her eyes.

Nathan's mouth dropped open in shock.

"What have you done?" Daisy arched an eyebrow and glared at him. Nathan shuddered at the intensity of her tone.

"Mom, I don't understand. Why are you mad at me?" Nathan lifted his hands innocently. He couldn't remember doing anything harmful that could potentially hurt his mother. He had beaten the crap out of Bruce, but Bruce meant nothing to his mother. Why would she be upset about someone she did not know? Nathan frowned in confusion.
