Chapter 266 Promise Me One Thing

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Yes," Mandy exclaimed, sounding so resolute.

"You may indeed have ambition, but… Why?" As always, Damian wasn't willing to let her go, and he kept bombarding her with questions.

This made Mandy want to explode. It was so frustrating that she had to take a deep breath and calm herself down. Damian was just too infuriating. Why did he have to keep asking so many questions?

"It's unseemly," Mandy quickly blurted out, looking like she couldn't care less what he thought.

That being said, her response made Damian feel quite amused. From what he could gather, she didn't look like she had just broken up with Nathan at all. As far as he knew, whenever a woman would break up with Nathan, she would end up in a miserable state. No one could possibly be as calm as she was! This woman really was a little different!

"So, what now? What do you want me to do?" As he raised his head to look at her, he noticed that Mandy was already feeling a little annoyed. If he continued to ask those boring questions once more, he was worried that she wouldn't be able to take it anymore.

Mandy gulped and said, feeling so nervous, "I don't have any idea. That's why I came here to ask for your help."

"Is that so? Let me think."

In the world, the person Nathan was scared of the most was definitely Daisy. For as long as she was involved, nothing would be impossible.

After cudgeling his brains about it, Damian sprang up from his seat, snapped his fingers, and excitedly said, "I have an idea."

"Really?" Mandy looked at him in anticipation. All she could do was hope that whatever he came up with was going to work.

"I can lend you a hand, but you're going to have to promise me one thing." There was a rather deceitful smile on his face.

Seeing that, Mandy couldn't help thinking, 'I knew it. There's no way he's going to help me without getting something in return.'

"What do you have in mind?" Mandy asked.

"As for what I'm going to do exactly, I haven't decided yet. But you owe me first. I'll let you know as soon as I figure something out." With his gaze fixed on her, a cunning look flashed across hi

that well! Was he only pulling her leg?

"All I'm asking you to do is put on an act. But if you really want to be my girlfriend, I won't mind." After giving it some thought, he realized that Mandy was somewhat unyielding. So, he didn't want to force her into doing anything she didn't want.

"All right. We'll just play pretend in front of Mrs. Jin, right?" Mandy resolutely said. At last, she was able to let out a sigh of relief. Luckily for her, all she had to do was act.

"Yes." There were lots of random thoughts running through his mind. In truth, he was actually probing Mandy just now, only to find out that she didn't have any feelings for him at all. As much as he hated to admit it, it was a bit disappointing.

Now that they had come to an agreement, Damian took out his phone and called to ask Daisy to meet at the coffee shop.

"Hello, may I please speak with my aunt who is as beautiful as a fairy?" Damian joked, trying to flatter Daisy. Quite surprisingly, this trick worked exceptionally well on her.

Grinning from ear to ear, Daisy put down the flower she was holding. "Come on, Damian! You're teasing me again. I'm getting too old for that."

"How could that possibly be? Aunt, you're always like a fairy in my heart, In fact, you're even more beautiful than a fairy." Damian was quite skilled at winning women over. As a matter of fact, he didn't even need to think twice about lying.
