Chapter 221 Arrogant Mr. Jin

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Bruce had asked someone to look into Daniel, who had been released from prison. He remembered that Mandy had visited Daniel that day, even though she had just wanted to say her last goodbye to him. Therefore, Bruce figured that it was Mandy who had released Daniel from prison.

"Shut up!" Upon the mere mention of Daniel's name, Nathan immediately grew furious. Veins were protruding from his forehead, and rage filled his eyes.

With his arms crossed over his chest, Bruce shook his head helplessly as he said, "Well... Poor guy. Did you know that? They have let Daniel go, you know?"

"What did you say?" Nathan squinted his eyes, anger emanating from him.

"Ha-ha. Why don't you go and see for yourself?" When Bruce spoke, his tone was harsh and cold.

Nathan was visibly fuming. As beads of sweat formed on his forehead from the sweltering sun, he slowly clenched his hands into fists.

Daniel! He was already out of prison!

Nathan had been so busy lately that he didn't even realize that Daniel was already out of jail. The last thing he expected was that Mandy would just let him go like that.

Bruce smiled faintly as he sympathetically gazed back at Nathan. He maintained his gaze for a few seconds before turning and walking away, leaving Nathan alone.

Nathan couldn't see well under the scorching heat of the sun. He jumped in a pool, swimming for a while.

Meanwhile, Nacy and Simon walked around the water amusement park. They came across a white pavilion just beside the tulip garden.

The pavilion was well-decorated with flowers. As Nacy stared at the pot of violet orchids, she asked plainly, "What are Bonnie and Eve doing here?"

"I don't know," Simon said innocently. He really had no id

ad then realized that Nacy wouldn't be with him anymore.

"By the way, the man I came with today is a teacher at our old high school. I like him." A warm smile appeared on Nacy's face. She seemed to be in a good mood when she talked about Bruce.

Nacy's smile was so bright that it hurt Simon.

Simon used to love her smile. However, he felt sad when knowing that she wasn't smiling because of him. She had basically admitted that she was already in love with someone else.

"Nacy, why?" Simon couldn't hold back his feelings anymore. Furrowing his eyebrows, he grabbed one of Nacy's arms.

"Because of love. That's why!" Nacy smiled as if she didn't give a damn about him.

"Love? Because of love? Are you seriously saying that? Love? Love?" Simon mumbled to himself.

Nacy merely smiled, not saying anything. She then turned and left.

When Nacy had walked a long distance, she heaved a sigh of relief, seemingly tired, too.

She could feel her heart twisting in pain. She knew in her heart of hearts that she loved Simon very much. After all, she had always felt that way, even as a child. How could she have lied to him like that?
