Simon turned around stiffly, his lips pressed into a fine line. "Why are you here?" he asked flatly.

"Is there any reason why I can't come here?" Bonnie strode forward and snapped, "In case you forgot, I called you last night. I thought you said you were too busy to come today?"

Simon knew that there was no way out–Bonnie had caught him in his lie.

"Yes, I did say that. But since Nathan booked the whole place, I'd be a fool not to come." Simon curled his lips, trying to keep his cool.

"Well, in that case... Let's go inside together." With that, Bonnie strolled briskly to his side and held his arm, like a timid bird resting upon its master's shoulder.

'This is going to be an awfully awkward day...' Simon sighed helplessly in his heart. He could endure Bonnie's surprise arrival. It was just that she had also brought Eve along with her. Who knows what would happen when Eve saw Mandy with Nathan.

"Simon, be nice to my Bonnie," Eve said indignantly, walking alongside them.

At the dressing room

Mandy opened up her bag so she could get changed. Days prior, she had prepared a nice, conservative swimsuit for her to wear. However, she wasn't expecting what she pulled out of her bag...

'Wh... Where's my swimsuit?!' With her face heavily blushing, she looked at the skimpy bikini in her hands. 'I could have sworn I packed something else last night!'

Gritting her teeth, Mandy couldn't help but think that the only explanation behind this was Nathan.

At that moment, Nathan came inside the dressing room. He was already wearing a pair of warm orange beach shorts.

Although Mandy was still a little angry, she felt her heart race faster at the sight of Nathan's body. His broad shoulders and his toned pecs–not to mention those tight eight pack abs! It was definitely a body that most guys could only dream of having...and a body most women would dream of having on top of them.

Even without his expensive suits on, the way Nathan looked easily showed off his noble temperament.

When Mandy met his gaze, she couldn't help but swallow nervously. She quickly averted her eyes, feeling incredibly shy.

At a moment of courage, Mandy looked up again at Nathan, thi

kissing you..." Nathan smirked as he leaned in closer, his hand gently holding her chin.

Just before their lips could meet, Mandy dove under his arm and rushed out of the fitting room.

"I'll give you a head start. Don't let me catch up to you, or you might regret it!" Nathan called out after her. The corner of his mouth twitched slightly. He stood in the dressing room, helpless as he shook his head. 'This woman is really testing my temper, isn't she?'

Normally, no woman had dared to make fun of him like that.

"Ha! You wish! I was the champion of the track team back in high school!" Mandy laughed loudly outside.

She turned her head back as she ran, trying to see where Nathan was.

Not looking at where she was going, Mandy carelessly bumped into someone headfirst. Dazed and surprised at the impact, she staggered back and rubbed her forehead.

Then, she caught a glimpse at the people she ran into. 'Nacy... and Bruce?!'

Noticing that Mandy was losing her balance, Bruce frowned and instinctively stretched out his arm to keep her steady.

At that moment, before she could figure out what was happening, she was suddenly in someone's strong arms.

Even with her eyes closed, she could easily recognize the familiar embrace. She felt at ease in the arms of Nathan, but she was still quite in shock at the sight of Bruce here.

'Why is Bruce here?' Mandy thought nervously. 'Wasn't Nacy and Simon the only people coming along with us?'
