Chapter 206 I Don't Want A Single Penny From You

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Nathan was still in a daze when Mary knocked on his door before admitting Bruce into his office.

The knock sounded very clear in the quiet office, which brought Nathan's contemplation to a halt. He came back to his senses at once. He closed the file written with Mandy's name on his desk and put it aside steadily.

"Come in," Nathan said in a stern voice while striding toward the sofa with a cold look on his face.

"Mr. Jin, Mr. Xu is here." Mary wore a black uniform, and there was an expression of indifference on her pretty face, almost the same as that of Nathan's.

"Thank you, Mary. You can leave now," Nathan ordered blankly.

"Yes sir." Mary closed the door gently.

There came the click of the door, signifying it was tightly closed, and the atmosphere suddenly became embarrassing in the bright office. Nathan sat down on the sofa, poker-faced, and said to Bruce, "Sit down, please."

Bruce stopped being gentle and modest, and there was a serious look on his pretty face too.

Today he was in a face-to-face confrontation with Nathan. No matter what Nathan would tell him, he would not back down.

"You are a smart man. I won't beat around the bush." Nathan kept a straight face. His expression was very cold as if he was telling Bruce that he won't give up, either.

It was Bruce's first serious and in-depth encounter with Nathan. Bruce hadn't had a deep conversation with him yet, but seeing Nathan's attitude, Bruce could tell that Nathan was not a simple man. He couldn't understand why Mandy would fall in love with such a cold man.

"Mr. Jin, just get straight to the point. I also like being straightforward," Bruce said in a calm tone. Although Bruce called Nathan Mr. Jin, he was not afraid of him at all.

"Okay, this is a cheque for thirty million. Take it and leave my sister." Nathan stared at Bruce for a while, and then he took out a new cheque from the coffee table and put it in front of him.

Bruce grinned but said nothing. In his mind, Nathan's move was so ridiculous.

Maybe that was how the rich people really were. It was probably their nature. They thought money could solve ev

"Aren't you using my sister to get closer to Mandy?" Nathan's voice was cold, and his eyes were full of anger.

Bruce looked at Nathan with a gloomy gaze. 'Right! Nathan couldn't take it anymore. This was the reason why he asked me to come here. Nacy was just an excuse, ' Bruce thought to himself.

"To tell you the truth, you are wrong. Mand and I have known each other since we were kids. We don't need to ask anyone for anything. Besides, I don't think Nacy is useful for that matter." He furrowed his eyebrows tightly, and a mocking smile appeared on his face.

Nathan looked calm on the surface, but his anger was killing him inside. Nonetheless, he tried to compose himself.

The words 'we had known each other since we were kids' from Bruce's mouth irritated Nathan. He was even a little jealous. This man's name had been called out by Mandy in her dream.

"Don't be too confident," Nathan grinned coldly and said through gritted teeth.

"Nathan, are you familiar with Mand's past? Do you know her favorite food? Do you know where she likes to go? Do you know her favorite color and what she looked like when she was a child? You know nothing!" There was a faintly cold smile on Bruce's gentle face as he tried to appear victorious and all-knowing.

Fury was written all over Nathan's face. He stared coldly at Bruce. If his looks could kill people, he would have killed Bruce a thousand times already.
