It was lunch-break

Mandy arrived at a traditional restaurant where they had agreed to meet. It was a quiet restaurant, which was perfect to have a good conversation with Bruce.

Bruce was already at the restaurant, sitting at a table by the window. He was a punctual man and had arrived ten minutes earlier than Mandy.

He was wearing a sea blue T-shirt that enhanced his good looks. There was a warm smile on his gentle face when he saw Mandy walk inside the restaurant.

"I'm here, Mand!" Bruce waved at Mandy, and his bright eyes shone with excitement.

"Hello, Bruce!" Mandy smiled, pulled out a chair, and sat opposite to him.

Bruce had always been a thoughtful man. He had deliberately reserved a seat in the compartment as he knew that girls liked to have dinner there.

"You must be hungry. Let's order something first." Bruce's eyes were glittering with undisguised love, like the stars in the sky, which was bright and pure.

He had always been gentle and kind to Mandy.

She was the only woman he cared for. He kept a safe distance from other girls in school, while his gaze always followed Mandy.

"Ah, Mandy, I just told you what I was feeling. I really like you, and I'm not ready to see other women. I was probably not in a good mood. I'm sorry if I was rude." Bruce smiled apologetically.

"No, that's okay!" Mandy shook her head firmly.

"Let's eat first. We can talk after luch." Bruce smiled and grabbed his chopsticks.

"Umm... okay," Mandy said nonchalantly, looking unhappy.

"You should try the beef here. It is fantastic." Bruce grinned and picked up a piece for Mandy.

"Do you come here often?"

"Oh, yeah." Bruce nodded while chewing his food. His face had settled into a permanent grin. He was always happy around Mandy.

"Wow, you're a gourmet expert!" Mandy arched an eyebrow in appreciation, quickly changing the topic.

"I have had dinner here with my colleagues before. The hospital is located in the best spot. A lot of great restaurants are around here."
