1. Watch Out For the Crown Prince!

One day, I suddenly woke up as a completely different person. I became one of the characters in the romantic fantasy novel that I read a month ago.

“Ha…”

I sighed softly and stared at my face in the mirror.

A pair of sharp golden eyes stared back at me in the mirror. I had dark-brown straight hair that was parted in the middle, which revealed my broad forehead. My golden eyes reminded me of my neighbor’s dog. Although my appearance was not ugly, I was not beautiful either.

Melissa Podebrat.

I am the daughter of a duke as well as the evilest villainess in the romantic fantasy novel “The Man I Loved”.

“The Man I Loved” was one of the romantic fantasy novels that came out when the reverse harem genre had become popular. It was a typical romance story between a kind and beautiful heroine and four powerful men.

The heroine, “Yuri Elizabeth,” was a commoner, but she was discovered to have a great potential for magic since she had a lot of mana in her body. As a result, she was adopted by Baron Elizabeth and entered the Elizabeth Estate.

The Crown Prince, a sniper, a werewolf, and a billionaire.

Four men with various personalities and occupations all pestered and chased after her. They fell in love with her because she was kind and beautiful.

Melissa Podebrat, the fiancée of the Crown Prince and the elder sister of the sniper. Melissa abused werewolves and she had a hostile relationship with the billionaire. In short, she was a troublemaker.

Now, I possessed the body of the troublemaker.

When I woke up from a car accident, I didn’t expect that I would actually possess the body of a character in a novel. Although I was a little flustered in the beginning, I thought that it would be better to accept my new reality. I am alive now and I have to live well in the future.

“After all, I am not the real Melissa. I know that ‘Melissa’ has committed many crimes so far, but… I’ll just have to reflect on her past and stop committing sins in the future.”

Unlike many of the characters who decided to either become the heroine or the villainess of the novel they transmigrate to, I wanted to be neither a heroine nor a villainess. I just wanted to drink some honey tea and live a leisurely life. There was no reason for me to become the villainess even though ‘Melissa’ was a villainess in the original plot.

There was also no reason for me to turn into a saint unless I wanted to seduce the four male leads. As far as I know, Melissa Podebrat did not die in the novel, so there was no reason for me to struggle against the plot to survive. Since I was born with a golden spoon as the daughter of a duke, then I should just live a comfortable life.

I was merely an ordinary college student before I crossed over, so living in a fantasy world was quite exciting for me. I was also able to admire the handsome male leads’ faces from time to time.

It all started out like this.

How did it come to this?

I was shocked speechless at the sight before my eyes.

Prince Ian Vasilios was my fiancé, but I knew that he always pushed me away because he hated me.
