Chapter 6 - Old Man Luo

In another mountain peek some people are standing in a straight line. In the very front of this line seating an old man leisurely without any worries of the world.

Noah could be seen in this line as well. Today is the day to get payment so Noah came to collect his payment. And another reason he came was that he wants to meet the supervisor.

Soon his turn came "Noah". Hearing this name the old man opens his eyes and look toward Noah. Seeing Noah's figure a slight smile come to the old man face.

"It's been one month since we meet, we have a lot to talk about," said the old man as if he is seeing an old friend of his.

After everything ended the old man invite Noah into his wooden hut. After entering the old man poured two cups of tea.

"Old man Luo, how is your body".

This person is the person who helped him join the sect in the past. The reason he behaves like an old friend is because 'he wants Noah to marry his granddaughter!'.

However, no matter how many times Noah rejected this old man Luo he never listens and nor did he force Noah to marry his granddaughter.

Even in the past 3 years old man Luo didn't change a bit. Even after knowing that Noah wasn't able to cultivate and nor did he have any bright future old man Luo insist on marrying his granddaughter to Noah.

"The reason I have called you here, the sect will be holding a Recruitment ceremony in two days," said the old man Luo.

" Disciple recruitment ceremony!. It's disciple Recruitment ceremony held once a year?" if Noah recalls correctly the last recruitment test was held only 5 months ago.

"Yeah, but for some unknown reason, the sect decided to do this now. What do you think? Any chance this year?" the old man asked.

It's been 3 years since Noah came to this sect. After so many years Noah still didn't manage to become s sect disciple.

"This year will different".

After a few minutes later Noah come back to the place where he lives. Obviously, the old man asked if Noah wants to meet with his granddaughter?. However, Noah rejected the old man polity saying 'If I manage to become an inner disciple in half a year I'll see her'.

Becoming an inner disciple in half a year! Even Noah Doubt it was possible. However, old man Luo except his condition without any second thought.

After coming back Noah saw tian still tied in the tree. He was expecting tian to run away. However, it seems this guy thought he is still in his house and didn't dare to run away.

After giving tian some beating Noah remembered something. " How Many monster cores do you have," Noah asked.

"I-I will give all of my monster core just let me leave," said Tian with a shaky voice.

" I'll think about it after you hand over all of Your monster core," said Noah. Even though he said that he doesn't have any thoughts of releasing tian.

" All of my things are in my space Pouch, " said Tian.

Soon Noah found a pouch in one of the tian pockets. Noah found 6 monster cores a sword, a cultivation manual, and some other junk. Seeing all of this a smile come to Noah's face.

" I have given what you asked for, please release me now," said Tian.

" Didn't I said I will think about it! I think the world outside is not good" said Noah.

"Y-you bastard I'll kill you" Tian roared. How can he not understand what Noah trying to say.

However, the next moment a "pha" sound resounded and tian felt a burning sensation in his cheek.
