Chapter 3 - At Last

There was no one to help Noah, after all, he is already live in a deserted place. And the place he currently is far away from his house. Every time his heart thumps he felt like it will burst out, there is actually no word to describe what he is feeling right now, for a second he prayed to God to just kill him, he didn't want to live in this world anymore.

Slowly his vision gets blurry as he loses consciousness. Noah's body slowly drowns the bottom of the spring and touches the ground.

Just like that time passes by 1 hour 2 hours 5 hours after a long time,  Suddenly Noah opens his bloodshot eyes. His eyes become so red it will even surpass the eyes of a beast. Noah look all around him, surprisingly he found himself underwater perfectly breathing. Noah touches his chest to see if his heart is still there. He let out a sigh of relief he felt the thump. He can't believe he actually breathing underwater. However, this is not time to be amazed, after all, he is alive and that is the most important thing.

After realizing he is perfectly fine he swipe his gaze all around him, suddenly something astonishing caught his eyes. Not far from him standing a tree, well it's normal for a dead tree to be underwater. However, the thing that made him curious is not the tree but the single green leaf on the tree.

Seeing this Noah couldn't help but approach the tree, he didn't think there would be any danger after all the pain he felt earlier could death be more painful than that?. Noah slowly approach, and indeed what he saw was real this leaf is green. However, the question is how can a tree be alive underwater? He is coming here for the past 2 years however, he never saw this spring to dried out.

Curiously he touched the leaf, as soon as he did that something shoot out from the tree and Warp him. Noah tried to free himself but failed to do so. He becomes tensed up seeing this, at this moment a famous saying comes to his mind " Curiosity killed the cat"

Soon more vine shoots out from the tree and Warp around him.  Noah noticed his strength slowly leaving his body as if all this vine absorbing all the strength from his body. "This time I am surely gone die"

The old-looking at the device frown slightly when he noticed the changes in the device. All pattern that was glowing suddenly start to die down.

"Who dares" space around the old start to shattered like glass under the might of old man angry voice. The old man stretch out his and a mirror appeared in his hand.  He inject his energy into this mirror however nothing happened.

It's not enough! Suddenly all around him start to tremble as his power rose, he again inject his energy into the mirror however, nothing happened. Seeing this scene his face darken. He shift his gaze toward the device with a pattern and he noticed the last pattern slowly dying down.

"There is no other way! I have to burn my life Force"  red energy starts to circle around him. Soon many burned marks appeared in his body, his body become like nothing but bony in few seconds, he again inject his energy into the mirror. Soon Noah's face was shown in the mirror. Seeing this a smile comes to his face. However, the smiley face didn't last long when he saw Noah's condition.

The old man injects more of his energy into the mirror and he points his other hand toward the mirror, suddenly a  golden beam of light shoots out from his hand and entered the mirror. However, in the next moment with a 'cracking' sound the mirror shattered into pieces.

"Just Don't die,"  said the old man before closing his eyes. No one knows why this old man said that.

In the rainbow sect, everything going, as usual, with everyone doing what they do. Suddenly a massive Golden light appeared above the rainbow sect. Everyone shift their gaze toward this massive Golden light  "what's this" someone said.

Seeing the golden light descending many people thought this "Are we gone die!".

In the rainbow sect, everyone thought it's an enemy attack. However, before they could even raise the protection shield the golden light hit the nameless peak where many working disciples live. Everyone thought they are gone to die however, nothing happened, when it hit the surface it vanished into nothingness.

"Huh, where did that thing go ?" as soon as that Golden light vanished everyone let out a sigh of relief.

With a blurry gaze, Noah noticed a figure descending from above. " Am a hallucinating? Maybe  I am hallucinating" Noah thought to himself. He never thought there would be someone who would come to save him anyway.

This figure Noah just saw descend from above and look toward the tree, suddenly a smirk come to his face "Impudent, A small tree sprite dare to act brazen Before me" 

This person is actually none other than part of the old man's conscious. When he saw Noah in danger he cut a part of his conscious and sent it here. He could have come with his real body however, it would have taken him lots of time. He burned his life Force and cut his conscious and sent it here through the mirror.   

The figure stretches out his hand toward the tree.  When he did that a small blue comes out of the tree. All branches of the tree tried to stop by attacking the old manor by holding the blue ball, however, nothing worked as the blue light come to his hand. However, a frown come to his face when he noticed his power being drained.

"Hump"  the figure clenched his fist as the blue light burst into pieces. However, in the next second the all part of the blue light gather together.

"How can this be!" he has never seen something that could reform after completely destroyed.

" What, arugh" suddenly a cry came out of the old man's mouth, he noticed this time this sprite actually absorbing the even faster than before. "I can't let this happen"   the figure looked toward Noah with an unwilling gaze, as if he didn't want to leave, soon he vanished with the blue light in his hand. The old man decided to just explore this part of his consciousness, he doesn't want to take the risk, after all, he haven't seen something like that. 

As soon as the blue light vanished, the tree slowly turn into stone except for the green leaf. It fall down from the tree slowly came close to Noah's half-dead figure and vanished inside him. As soon as that happened, Noah's face become healthy again as if he got back his vitality. After a few hours later Noah slowly open his eyes he swipes his gaze around him

"I am alive!". Noah question himself

Noah clearly remembered he was almost dead. "wait, could it be to that Figure saved me? Noah for even a second  Didn't think all of these he saw is just a dream. I can't stay here anymore this place is too dangerous" Noah thought to himself.

Without wasting a single breath of time he starts swimming upward. It took him almost 20 minutes before he reach the surface. And the surprising thing was he was still able to breathe easily.

He witnesses too many bizarre vents today that he doesn't want to experience again. Without wasting any time he comes out of the spring. Even though He doesn't know how that tree turns into stone it doesn't matter to him anyway.

Noah slowly came back to his hut, by the time he came back the sky become a little dark. After coming he enter his hut and sat in crossed legged.

Suddenly Noah felt a twinkling sensation however, this time it was stronger than before, if someone's hand touching him or trying to grab him.

However, Noah also noticed the air around him getting more and more thicker, he also heard some 'shaah, shaah' sound close to his ears. However, Noah didn't open his eyes and still meditate. Soon Noah felt his body start to heat up, his heart also beating faster, Noah try to stay calm as much as he can. But he felt his heart is not in his control anymore.

Noah open his eyes, however, he wasn't prepared for what he saw. No saw he is inside a vortex. All around him.

"Don't get distracted, close your eyes and try to absorbed"  At this moment a voice rang in Noah's his mind. This voice is so frail and weak as if this person is in his last breath.

Noah didn't ignore what this voice said. Noah closed his eyes and try to absorb. As soon as he did that, a crack sound came fore Noah's body. As soon as that happened Noah felt something he never felt. He felt streams of energy entering his body. Nursing and making him stronger.

Noah couldn't help but tremble slightly, the feeling he has been longing for finally came.

He couldn't help but smile lightly. If it was any other time he would have been jumping in joy by now. He didn't know how many Countless nights and days he tries for this however failed.   

Noah slowly open his eyes, despite doing that energy still entered Noah's body  As if they are happy to be absorbed by Noah.  His body also absorbing everything without holding back. As time passes rather than decreasing the air pressure around Noah, he felt it increase more than double.

His body also didn't stop. It continues like a hungry predator. In just a few minutes Noah felt his breakthrough. Not long after Noah felt he Breakthrough again, This time air around Noah gradually decreased and his body also decreased absorbing energy.

After 20 minutes later Noah slowly opens his eyes. Everything felt like a dream to him. He pinches his skin to see if it's hurt or not.

"Ha… Haha. It's hurt. This is not a dream at all! Finally, I can cultivate" Noah clenched his fist and look toward the sky and muttered "soon "

In one sweep Noah's cultivation come to halt in 'Human cultivation 3rd stage'. However, before he celebrate he stood up and couped his fist , slightly lowering his head Noah open his mouth " thanks for senior's guidance". However, no reply came .. Noah understand the senior left .
