Chapter 46 - Do Not Ask Me To Forgive You, Ask Alex!!!!

Before going to see Alex, Fidelia had actually considered buying breakfast for her, knowing that her best friend liked to eat, but Leila had told her not to because there was a cook in Eliott's house. She was really looking forward to a good breakfast, but when she looked around the house, she noticed that it was pretty empty, because there was no one in the big house except Eliott and Alex.

Eliott's apartment was on the same level as hers, but it certainly looked different, it was much larger. It had two floors, on the first floor there was the living room, kitchen, and a bathroom and toilet and on the second floor, there were three bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Even though his house was that big, Eliott was someone who was very independent since he was a kid. He didn't like anyone doing anything for him at home, so there were no maids, just someone who came two days a week to clean up.

Looking at the empty house, Fidelia was perplexed and wondered where the cook was. Truth be told, she was getting hungry too, and could not wait to get a good breakfast like the one they had that morning.

"Baby girl, this time it's not my fault, you'll have to ask Leila, I wanted to come with some food, but she forbade me because there's someone here who cooks..."

Eliott, sitting quietly next to Alex on the couch, frowned and looked at his sister with a raised eyebrow, thinking, 'Since when am I the chef?'

"Really? But it seems like there's no one else in this house but us..." Alex didn't hear or see anyone else in the house, so she looked at Eliott and waited for his answer.

"As you said, there is only us, the cook is the one sitting next to you..." Leila smiled, looking forward to her good breakfast.

Alex and Fidelia looked at Eliott in amazement, immediately thinking of the delicious breakfast they had that morning. 'So the food he sent me that day was really made by him? Such a great cook' was the only thought in Alex's mind.

For his part, Eliott, after hearing his sister, didn't say a word. Out of nowhere, he got up and went straight to his kitchen, and started to sort out the ingredients he needed to make a simple breakfast. Of course, he loved cooking, but his sister had made him his personal chef and now he kind of felt like he had gotten a foodie wife and was already anticipating his cute little misery.

Alex, watching him from her seat, could not help thinking that the sight of him in his white T-shirt and chopping vegetables was really sexy.

The one who felt a little uncomfortable in this situation was Fidelia, who thought that it was not her place to ask her Big Boss to cook for her. "Leila is it really okay to ask him to cook. I can do it, you know..."

"Don't worry, he is used to it. I come here every time I need something to eat, and I bet he is even happier to cook for his girlfriend, so you don't have to worry" Leila sensed Fidelia was uncomfortable, and smiled at her, because she really didn't know why people were so afraid of her little brother.

Eliott smiled as he heard the two of them talking. He could understand Fidelia's discomfort, after all he was still her boss. As his sister had said, he was indeed happy to cook for his future wife, but deep down he knew his sister was just a glutton who used Alex as an excuse to have breakfast at his house. Being the good brother, he was, he could not help but think of the time she would settle down. If she finds a husband, what will the poor fellow eat?' He chuckled a little while imagining her in a kitchen.

Across town, in the Allen family home, the atmosphere was very gloomy. Kevin was afraid of what was to come. He could not believe he was actually going to jail. He regretted that night so much, he knew he had screwed everything up, but if he didn't have to go to jail, at least he could help his father save the company a little.

He knew the Jensen family would not spread the real reason for the feud between them because Alex's image would suffer, even if she was the victim. "I still have a small chance to avoid prison, I will have to beg for mercy!!!" Thinking about it, he looked really dejected. Kevin was a proud man and he could not stand Eliott since they were kids, he had always been jealous of him, he always had everything he wanted and people looked at him like he was a prince or something and he didn't like that.

And now he had to beg him to spare him. He was already thinking about just giving up, but when he saw his father sitting on the couch, absent-mindedly calling people for help, he picked up his cell phone and dialed a number, and waited, shivering, for the call to connect.

Eliott's phone suddenly began to ring. Seeing that it was his personal phone he frowned, not many people knew this number and if it was not his family calling, then it was usually people around him asking for a favor.

He washed his hands and took his phone out of his pocket. Looking at the number, he frowned. This was the last person he wanted to hear or see since last night. He considered for a second whether or not to take the call. When Leila, who knew her brother best, saw him like this, she recognized his irritated look and knew something bad was about to happen, 'Who is this bastard? Hopefully, he will not stop him with the cooking...' was her only thought.

"Hello," Eliott said in a tone that pierced through the phone like a dagger, and the three women in the house felt his posture change and the temperature around him drop.

Kevin's hand shook as he heard Eliott's cold voice. Immediately he regretted his idea of calling Eliott, but it was too late because the call was already connected, "Hello Eliott, I know it is very presumptuous of me to call you, but I have no choice. I know that what I did really upset you, but can you give me a little chance? You can do whatever you want, but don't just send me and my sister to jail, please?" Stuttered Kevin, almost crying into the phone.

Eliott took the call because his father had sent him a message telling him to give him some face since Karl was his friend and ask him not to be too hard on the Allen Patriarch. He knew his father was also very angry about what those two bastards had done, and he also knew Karl was a good man who didn't deserve to lose everything overnight because of his adult children's misbehaviour.

"Oh, so you want me to be forgiving? Why would I do that? When you looked at my wife with your dirty eyes and planned to rape her, did you think of being merciful?"

Kevin gulped, Eliott cold voice was already killing his nerves, he was so afraid that he just wanted to cut that call, but he couldn't do that, he had to ask, at least for his father "Even if you don't do this for me, at least think of my father, please..." Kevin sighed, reluctantly accepting his fate, but at least he wanted to help his father.

"You have a lot of nerve using your father to escape your punishment. Lucky you, I am in a good mood, I'll show your father some mercy, I'll not pull my investment for your next movie.. But you and your sister will still have to pay your share, and of course, you'll have to ask Alex for forgiveness, not me!" Then the conversation was cut off. Eliott was still furious that Kevin had the gut to call him!!
