Bai Han turned around, raised his eyes, and looked indifferently at Liu Meiyue.

His stare made Liu Meiyue’s body stiffen. Fear filled her heart, and she couldn’t move at all.

“Liu Meiyue, you’d better shut up!” There was anger on Gu Shishi’s delicate face.

“Shishi, she doesn’t deserve your energy,” Bai Han suppressed the angry Gu Shishi.

Liu Meiyue didn’t dare to say anything. She wanted to retort, but she couldn’t say a word when she opened her mouth.

Her throat seemed to be choked by something, which made it impossible for her to speak at all. She could feel fear crawling up her spine.

“Mr. Bai, Ms. Gu, here are your key cards.” The front desk staff handed the key cards and invitation cards to Gu Shishi and Bai Han.

When Liu Meiyue saw both Bai Han and Gu Shishi had invitation cards, her face instantly turned pale. The next second, she closed her mouth.

Not anyone could receive an invitation card.

Since Bai Han knew Gu Shishi, he should also know that Liu Meiyue was from the Liu family. However, he was not afraid of her at all.

The next day, Bai Han arrived at the fair early in the morning.

The entire venue was divided into more than thirty sections with different brands.

“Mr. Bai.” Gu Shishi did not address Bai Han as her master in public. “I need to go to see my client.”

“Sure! I’ll check around then.”

Gu Shishi was a bit disappointed when she did not get the answer she had expected. She glanced at Bai Han, who was completely focused on the various pieces of jewelry and left.

Bai Han’s temperament was extraordinary. Although the participants didn’t recognize him, they were very respectful.

Those who could attend International Jewellery Fair were important figures.

The prominent celebrities were models for the brands to display their jewelry at this event. On the other hand, Bai Han was still strolling around, which showed that he was not here to work but collect jewelry.

Bai Han had already checked the small venues of six brands, but he did not find anything with magic power.

Bai Han entered the seventh one.

The previous six small venues had disappointed him.

Quite a few brands nearby had noticed Bai Han.

“Sir, what kind of jewelry are you looking for?”

The salesperson from the brand of this small venue was sharp, and she directly asked Bai Han what kind of jewelry he wanted.

“Something red, and the color should be bright red and transparent. It should be smooth and cold in hand,” Bai Han described high-grade magic crystals.

The salesperson thought for a moment and brought Bai Han to the gem area. “What you’re talking about should be a type of ruby gem. The red and bright ones are all top-grade. Our brand has a complete collection in the fair today.”

The salesperson was very confident. As long as Bai Han wanted rubies, this brand should be the only one which could satisfy him. Bai Han stepped forward, full of anticipation.

After looking at all the rubies, he sighed.

He shook his head. “I’m sorry.” The salesperson was a little stunned. “Is there no ruby that you want, Sir?”

“I don’t think so. || If the rubies here were the most complete, then the high-grade magical crystals should not be rubies.

High-level magical crystals were also red, but they were different from midgrade ones, which were dark red. High-grade magical crystals had a brighter red color.

The salesman was somewhat frustrated. “I am afraid that you might not be able to find what you want today, then.”

Bai Han didn’t say anything and was ready to head to the next brand.

When he was just about to leave, something suddenly came to the salesperson’s mind.

“Sir, if you’re looking for bright red, shiny, and cold jewelry, something here might meet your requirements,” she called Bai Han.

Bai Han squinted. “Tell me.”

“I think you are looking for red emeralds. The brand of the third small venue on the right is famous for emeralds, and I heard that they brought a glass-type red emerald today.”

“Thank you so much.”

Bai Han hurriedly walked towards the venue the salesperson had mentioned.

When Bai Han arrived, there were many people in the venue, and most of them were gathered in a corner.

Bai Han swiftly passed through the crowd and came to the front.

No one knew how Bai Han had appeared in front of them in the blink of an eye. However, the jewelry in front of them was more eye-catching, so they didn’t pay too much attention to him.

When he saw the red emeralds in front of him, he was so excited and had a bright smile on his face. There was a piece of red emerald that had been polished smooth and round. The quality was fine, shining, and transparent. Moreover, the color was evenly distributed, bright, and beautiful.

“I want this red emerald,” Bai Han said decisively.

“I’ll take them all,”

The smile on the sales manager’s face disappeared, and her eyes widened. “Sir, do you know how much all our red emeralds cost?”

The people around him also looked at him with dumbfounded expressions. Some of them were jewelers.

They only looked at it and didn’t buy it directly because this brand had a lot of red emeralds in their hands. If they bought all of them, it would cost them an arm and a leg.

Moreover, they had to pay in one go, which made most of them hesitate. “Is five billion enough?” Bai Han’s gaze had been fixed on the red emerald when he proposed the offer.
