In the next two days, Jing Yue took all the lotuses in the Lotus Garden away to cook porridge. Poor Xiao Chen was treated as a guinea pig to try it first.

“Xiao Chen…Xiao Chen…Come and have a taste!” Every time Xiao Chen heard this, he ran away like he had seen a ghost. In the end, Xing Yi and Xing Er were left to suffer that horrible porridge for two days.

All the servants in the Mansion ran as soon as they saw Jing Yue. In the end, Jing Yue was left alone.

“Oh yeah! Victory!” Jing Yue threw the bowl and changed her clothes quickly. Then she ran out of the Mansion and threw herself into the bustling streets once again.

However, she was grabbed by someone else again after walking a short distance from home. It was not Xiao Chen but…

“Helian Xiu, can you act like a normal person for just once?” Jing Yue shouted angrily. Helian Xiu took her under his arm and ran at a fast speed. The bumpy journey made Jing Yue feel dizzy again. But compared with the first time, she felt much better now.

After landing on the ground, Helian Xiu folded his arms and gloated over Jing Yue’s pale face, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to.”

Jing Yue squatted on the ground to ease her upset stomach. “What do you want this time?” asked Jing Yue, who raised her head and stared at the handsome man before.

“Debt collecting,” smiled Helian Xiu with his arms still folded, “You own me three requests, and here is the first one: go on a date with me tonight.”

“What?” startled by his words, Jing Yue covered her chest with her arms, with a frightened look, “You’ve promised not to let me sacrifice my body.”

“What are you thinking about, you little girl.” said Helian Xiu, laughing at Jing Yue’s reaction. “It’s the night of Double Seventh Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day). I’ll let you go home if you accompany and play with me tonight.”

“That’s it?” Jing Yue blinked her eyes and looked at Helian Xiu doubtfully.

“Of course, but we should act like lovers ….” Helian Xiu approached. His charming voice and the enchanting mole under the corner of his eyes seemed to have some magic that seduced her and made her swallow difficultly.

“No kissing, no touching, only hand in hand at best.” Jing Yue raised her chin arrogantly. She stretched out her white hand and squinted at Helian Xiu with a resolute look, which made him paused for a while.

“Hah… that’s interesting.” Helian Xiu strode forward and grabbed the waist of Jing Yue; then they flew away again. Jing Yue yelled and grabbed his clothes tightly lest he threw her down.

At night, the streets were full of people, with lanterns and accessories like sachets, masks and handkerchiefs held in their hands or sold in stalls; two or three boats on Mingpan Lake began to move slowly. Men and women were all dressed up to play outside.

At this moment, Jing Yue was lounging in a cabin. She enjoyed the beauty of Helian Xiu while eating some snacks.

“Don’t you want to go out to see the night scene, little girl?” Helian Xiu ignored Jing Yue’s gaze which fixed on him like invisible glue. He sipped the rice wine in his hand, looking up at Jing Yue.
