Chapter 479 - A Weird Woman

After Ye Qian and the two ladies walked out of the gate of the kindergarten.

There were only a few parents left and they also seemed to be about to leave.

"Hello."

And that was when the trio heard someone's voice.

To be precise, it was the voice of a woman.

Ye Qian and the two ladies turned to their left only to see that it was a woman who appeared to be in her late 30's.

"Are your children in this school as well?"

The woman's question seemed quite abnormal and quite weird.

Ye Qian looked carefully and noticed that the woman though appeared in her late 30s was not even close to 30 yet.

But after that, he felt something off, cause there was a foul odour surrounding the woman.

It was quite unpleasant and the more one stayed close the more nauseated it started to get.

Meanwhile, besides Yuan Meng, Ning Wei's face started to turn a bit pale as she paled her hand on her mouth and turned around while walking a few steps away from them.

Of course, being the weakest of the four, Ning Wei's face paled as she felt her stomach twisting after smelling this foul smell.

"Yes."

Yuan Meng felt that Ning Wei was feeling sick and so she wanted to go to her when she heard Ye Qian's cold voice.

Ye Qian's voice was cold which made Yuan Meng notice that there was something wrong with the woman.

"Ohh, a few years ago my child was also studying here."

The woman smiled and then walked past Ye Qian and Yuan Meng while taking a glance at Little Jia who also was holding her nose.

Ye Qian frowned after the woman walked away and felt that there was something off.

Usually, there was no way that he would be able to smell this kind of odour, but this woman gave him an eerie vibe.

It was not like he was worried about her, she was nothing but an ant in his eyes, but he didn't feel any wrong intent in her and thus he didn't do anything.

Though she was surrounded by a foul aura, Ye Qian knew that she was just a simple woman.

"Qian'er is everything alright?"

Upon seeing Ye Qian frowning, Yuan Meng asked in worry.

Just a few moments ago, she had seen that the ring on Ye Qian's finger had faded into nothingness and after that Jia had asked if it was for Little Qiqi and Xiao Ya.

She didn't need to think much to understand why and where the ring went away and what Little Jia was talking about.

She understood that Ye Qian was worried about the safety of the two little girls and though she didn't know what the ring would be able to do.

She knew that it was a magical object.

After coming from Xiao Ya's Grandpa's shop that day, the two little girls were very excited to tell her and Ning Wei about the ring which was floating on their heads while rays of light surrounded them.

Yuan Meng thought that the ring would have some kind of defensive magic and so felt relieved after Ye Qian let go of the ring for Little Qiqi and Xiao Ya.

After the incident in the mall, Yuan Meng and Ning Wei were worried a lot for the little girls.

That day it was good that Ye Qian was with them, otherwise, they didn't dare imagine what they might have been able to do.

And that only let them think of one other possibility.

They would not always be able to be with the girls, and nor would Ye Qian be able to, since he would also have to do something or the other.

But that was not the thing to worry about, they only feared that something like this to ever happen again.

"Wei are you fine?"

Ye Qian walked to the two ladies, of which Ning Wei's face still appeared a bit pale.

"What was that odour?"

With a disgusted look on her face, Ning Wei asked as she continued.

"I felt like throwing up."

Remembering all that, she again had the urge to throw up when Ye Qian took hold of her hand and presses a few points on her palm making her feel relief.

"Thanks."

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded and then looked at Yuan Meng who was looking at him as if wanting to bid farewell.

"You two must go as well, I will get Jia to her school and go back."

Ye Qian understood what Yuan Meng was thinking.

Though they had a lot of time to get to their work, there were still some women problems that Ning Wei had to take care of.

So it was quite feasible for them to go to her house quick and then get things ready and go to their work.

"Hmm."

Yuan Meng nodded as for Ning Wei, her eyes stopped blinking as she stared at Ye Qian.

'So this is the time for us to be separated?'

Ning Wei had a smile on her lips but there was this unfathomable feeling which continued to swell in her heart.

'Why am I feeling so sad, this is the right thing for the three of us.'

Ning Wei started to feel sour in her nose and felt heavy in her throat.

Unknowingly to her, Ning Wei's eyes had started to turn moist.

"You should take care."

Subconsciously, Ning Wei muttered as she thought that since this was the last time she would meet him she should say something to him.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded but didn't quite understand what she meant by that.

With that as the two ladies were about to leave.

"Mengmeng, wait a minute."

The two had just walked a few steps and were about to turn to the right when they heard Ye Qian's voice once again.

Ning Wei's body shook a bit after hearing his voice.

She was already at her wit's end and hearing his voice only made her feel more grieved.
