13 New Year Party Part 1

Old Madam Lu introduced Li Na to all the servants of the Lu Estate and they both sat together and had breakfast. Old Madam Lu gave her a tour and showed her round the estate. The estate was the next thing to a palace,it had so many beautiful gardens and at the back of the estate, there was a waterfall. The estate was really the jewel of the whole city, it was a tourist attraction and only few people have had the opportunity to go inside the estate, even the servants were considered lucky to work in the estate but the most luckiest person was Li Na. Even if she wasn't going to stay forever, she still counted her self lucky because she had access to almost everything in the house. After the tour, Old Madam Lu went back to her mansion. Li Na then remembered that she didn't call her cousin, and quickly gave him a call.

"so you remembered to call me" Li Qiang said in flattery

" we had so many guests yesterday, and after attending to all of them I was so tired,so I went to bed and forgot to call you" she explained swiftly and asked about her mother.

"she's doing better and the doctor said we can go home tomorrow" Li Qiang answered. Li Na was so happy she almost screamed her head off but quickly reminded herself that she was in the Lu Estate.

"let me speak to her" Li Na said in excitement

"she's sleeping" Li Qiang said. He couldn't hold his curiosity and started asking Li Na about her new family and the estate. Li Na answered to the best of her knowledge before ending the call.

It was already 2:00pm when Lui Yang, Li Na's personal servant brought a letter. It was an invitation to a new year party hosted by the Han family, she had never been to a party hosted by rich families, she really didn't care about them but now, she had become one of them and she wondered how grand the party will be, there will certainly be high profile guests,the thought of this made her increasingly nervous and started panicking.

Later in the evening, Zhang Wei arrived at the Lu Estate andwalked into the mansion and saw the letter lying on the table, he picked it up and read every line, after reading, he walked into his room,took a shower, he came out to have dinner when his gaze suddenly caught a shadow, he looked up and saw Li Na walking in the garden, she tied her hair up revealing herperfectly structured neck, as the moon shone bright, it reflected on her light jade skin making it very visible. Zhang Wei stood silently in awe.

"Master your food is ready" one of the servants said distracting him.

"has Li Na eaten?" he asked still fixing his gaze on Li Na.

"Yes sir" the servant answered .He nodded and left to have his dinner. Meanwhile, Li Na was still thinking about the party, she didn't want to embarrass herself and her In-laws who had been so good to her. She had to think of something before the party, she had no intention of honoring that invitation.
