Chapter 311 - Killing Vlad!

Even though Vlad's attacks were coming close to him, Elliot didn't make a move. He was standing still on his spot, waiting for just the right moment to make his move.

Vlad, on the other hand, thought that even if Elliot made a move now, he would still get hurt or die, as it was already too late. His bat faces were too close to him and inching towards Elliot's tasty blood from all sides.

Just as one of them reached an inch away from him, Elliot activated instant acceleration. It was a skill that he had gotten after creating celestial energy channels in his legs. It allowed him to move at the speed of thunder as he discharged 10000 units of the essence of life from each of his legs.

He moved away from his spot and out of danger with such incredible speed that he left behind a lifelike afterimage.

The black bats chomped down on his afterimage, ripping it into eight apart.

"He got him so easily? I don't believe it."

Freya blinked her eyes in confusion as she found it hard to believe that a lazy guy like Vlad managed to take down Elliot, who survived her destructive sneak attack, without even trying his hardest.

Meanwhile, Vlad was equally confused.

"There's no biting feeling.

"Why?"

Vlad didn't feel like he bit into warm flesh, and as he also didn't taste blood, he was sure that something was wrong.

The next instant, as Elliot's afterimage turned blurry and vanished, Vlad realized what was wrong.

Freya, too, understood that what he ripped apart was just Elliot's afterimage. She smiled as she confirmed that her guess was correct, and she gave herself a thumbs up.

Vlad looked around for Elliot.

However, he failed to find him.

"Where the hell did he go?" Vlad muttered as his shapeshifting came to an end and his original body, which had flesh and blood, came into being once again. He couldn't keep up his unoriginal forms for too long as his innate racial trait of shapeshifting was pretty taxing on his body and blood bank.

Elliot stepped out of his hiding spot with the speed of thunder and suddenly appeared behind Vladimir.

Vladimir didn't notice that the person he was looking for was standing a foot away from him; only Freya noticed that.

"Behind you!" While warning him, Freya conjured a thunderbolt and shot it at Elliot.

Elliot used instant acceleration to disappear, and Freya's attack crashed on Vlad, blasting him away like a ragdoll.

Vlad tumbled across area tenth and came to a halt after crashing on the wall.

He stood up with a sour face after taking three seconds to make sense of what happened.

He looked at Freya with red eyes that showed extreme anger and shouted, "Don't interfere in my fight!"

He was angry that she attacked him, but he felt the need to kill her because she tried to help aid him, a noble amongst vampires in a fight against a mere grey-skinned human.

"I promise I won't."

Freya knew promising not to interfere was the only way to keep the mad dog from biting her.

The mad dog calmed down and looked for his target

Elliot appeared behind his back again.

Before Freya could say a word to warn Vlad, Elliot's voice thundered in area 10th.

"Looking for me?!"

Vlad flinched as he could tell that this voice belonged to the intruder and that it was coming from behind him.

He only desired to create a distance between him and his enemy.

But before he could even move a single one of his muscles, Elliot used his moonlight sword to stab his heart and used his saber to cut his dog-like head off of his shoulder.

But that didn't signify the end of the fight.

Vlad's body, including his head, turned into thousands of bats, and they all lunged at Elliot.

Elliot wasn't surprised that he failed to kill Vlad as he already knew that the vampire could use his blood to heal major wounds, which included beheading and heart-shattering.

Of course, he could only do very limitedly.

The next he deals a lethal strike, he would die.

As the bats got closer to him, Elliot used his essence of life to create a golden shield around him.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The thousands of bats took turns to strike the shield, again and again, hoping to break it.

However, even though they damaged the golden shield very hard, Elliot merely used a bit of his essence of life to reinforce it, causing all the cracks on it to vanish.

"Are you going to keep hiding in there like a damn coward?"

Vlad was annoyed to see that the shield he had been trying to break for the past one minute had recovered to its peak condition and his attacks turned even more ferocious.

He wasn't the only one annoyed.

Elliot, who was holding back from using his ultimates like energy radiation and so on as this place didn't have any energy in the environment, meaning he couldn't recover any of his energy except for the essence of life, was equally annoyed.

He didn't like the fact that the being he was going easy on was the one cursing him.

"You aren't the only one who can abuse others using a large number of attackers," Elliot said grimly.

To make Vlad better understand what he meant, Elliot poured energy into his A-rank supernatural cells. In the next moment, eight devil limbs that looked like thick trunks of tree protruded out of his back. Each of them had many mouths with grey teeth, waiting to bite and consume something.

"Consume all the bats around me." The eight devil limbs extend outwards. They shot out of the golden shield and started consuming all the bats in their way. Most flapped their wings and got out of the way, causing the devilish limbs to strike the ground, but they also ate it before charging towards the bats.

"Too hideous." Freya thought as she looked at Elliot.

He didn't share a single resemblance with anything humane. Right now, he was nothing less than a terrifying evil spirit that would appear at night to haunt little children and consume humans alive.

He looked like a devil that had escaped from the depth of the abyss!

The devil limbs ate nearly all of the bats.

Only two managed to escape their frontal assault.

They were flapping their wings and shooting to the other side of this area when they vanished, and in their place appeared Vlad.

His shapeshifting skill had entered a cooldown of fifteen seconds!

Goddamn it.

After cursing his damn fate, Vlad shouted at Elliot.

"What kind of monster are you?"

"I believe I've already told you." Elliot said, "I am your end."

The same word coming out of the same face that held the same smile annoyed Vlad a lot.

"I'm going to teach you a lesson."

Vlad started to recite a demonic chant hurriedly to conjure up his ultimate.

Too bad for him; Elliot was in no mood to give him a chance to use his most powerful attack.

Puchi!

Vlad only felt icy cold hands entering his flesh, grabbing his heart, mind, tendons, blood bank, bones, and balls, and ripping them out of his chest before he turned into a wisp of smoke and disappeared for good.

Vlad's blood bank had many units of blood, and so it was beneficial to John.

Thus, Elliot put it in his subspace so that he would give it to John after returning to his world and meeting with him.

"…..!!" Freya didn't know what to say.

One of the vampire nobles and the fifth strongest follower of the spider queen in the Ash Grey World got killed by Elliot just like that!

Elliot recalled his eight devilish limbs, then he turned around, smiled at Freya, and moved towards her.

"You! Don't come close to me, or else–"

"Or else what?" Elliot interrupted.

"T-Things won't end well for you."

Although she was saying that, he could tell that the black beauty with pointy ears was super afraid of him as she took a step back each time he took a step towards her.

"Really? What are you going to do?" Elliot teasingly asked.

For some reason, he had no intention of attacking, harming, or killing her.

It was just that Freya hadn't understood it.

She failed to notice that he was a resistor, just like her.

"I-I will show you no mercy," Freya said nervously.

She only said that when Elliot appeared a step away from her and his huge figure cast a shadow over her petite one.

"Well, here I am, so how about you show me no mercy?" Asked Elliot with a teasing smile.
