83 SLOWLY FADING

Maria opened her eyes slowly and weakly. She wandered her eyes on her surrounding. She was in the middle of the road, the road was empty.

No cars, no signage, as in no one. It was only her who was lying on the road. Maria stood up and looked from her left to right.

She remembered everything, she abruptly touched her tummy and was relieved to felt her babies.

Was it just a dream?

No, its a nightmare!

Then, her surroundings changed. Its in their house, she watched as herself was crying while holding a picture that she doesn't want to see.

Her surrounding changed again, it was on the first floor of a mall. Maria remembered that she was supposed to have a flight but it was cancelled.

Then she went to the mall to bought clothes for her babies. But because of her depressed state, she felt her tummy ached. She started bleeding and was brought inside the ambulance.

She watched as the medic was busy taking care of her lying half conscious on the stretcher. Then she looked at the man beside her.

Why was he here?

Maria felt her surrounding changed once more! She was inside the operating room. She watched as the doctor tried to save her and her babies!

She tried to come near to them but she was stunned to saw everything went to darkness! She was crying hard, thinking about her babies life!

She tried hard to run fast. She touched her tummy but it was already flat! Where are her babies?!

She cried even more while running to the direction that she doest knew where to stop. It was pitch black, she kept on running that she felt her breath started to falter.

She was too tired to run but she did not gave up! Then, she saw a tiny light. She ran towards it, aiming to go there immediately. But the light seemed to go further when she stepped towards it!

She was so devastated and frustrated but she was determined to kept running. But she fell due to her tiredness and when she looked at the light, it was slowly fading!

Inside the ICU.

Maria's unconscious body started to took breath deeply. Her body shake miserably and the apparatus started to beep, informing that there were reactions from the patient.

But that reaction was not good!

The nurses and the doctors went inside the room hastily.

Her attending doctor was reviving her. She was almost gone! The doctor tried his best to do everything he can just to save her!

The life line started to went straight! It was slowly making a horizontal line and the heart beat started to decreased!
