Chapter 156 - SURPRISE VISIT

Maria and Tobias was very happy during their honeymoon days. They never leave the house due to that phone call but they enjoyed it very much!

But their happy days ended because Tobias needed to go to work. It was two days after Tobias leave ended. Maria was busy taking good care of the babies when she thought of visiting him on his office.

"guys, do you wanna visit Dada on his office? "

Maria asked the twins which they answered by clapping their hands. Tasha made a squeak sound.

"okay let's get you changed first. "

She said and get them ready for their surprise visit.

On their way to the office, they were stuck on the road due to some road accident. They've waited a few minutes before the road was cleared and the police announced that they can pass.

When they arrived at the company, Maria took the babies out and put them inside the stroller which the driver prepared.

"Okay, don't wait for us, the babies and I were going to be with Tobias until his works done. Thanks"

Maria told the driver and the driver nodded and drove off.

On their way to the elevator directly to his husband's office a man intentionally blocked their way. Maria's grip on the babies stroller became stronger and she felt nervous.

"Yes? "

Maria asked normally, trying to calmed down her nerves. Maybe he was just an employee.

"Mr. Tobias asked me to bring you to him. "

The man said with confidence. But, how can Tobias knew about them, visiting him?

"he was in the security room checking the CCTV, then he saw you and the babies stepping out in the car through it. "

"oh, babies were busted! We've been caught red handed! "

She talked to her twins with dismay, forgetting the man in front of them.

"ma'am, can we go now? "

The man asked her with a little hint of annoyance and hastiness.

"relax, don't be rude. We're gonna come with you. I just hate the fact that my husband caught us! Pffff! "

"I just don't want Mr. Tobias to get mad at me, he said to bring you and the babies to him ASAP. "

She nodded in response, she wanted to asked the man if he was working on the security team on her husband's company but Maria was still engaged in the thought of Tobias seeing them. She was busy cursing on the CCTV, not knowing the evil smirk the man gave her.

'who invented that thing?! '

"by the way, where is he? "

"on a restaurant nearby, Sir said he wanted to treat you and the twins . "

The man reasoned out not looking at her.

"i thought he was on the CCTV Room?"

The man face look shock in a split second, but answered her

"yes he was, but he has a meeting. He was in a rush . He did not wait for you three, and went outside the building."

The man reasoned out. Still, not looking to her.

Maria felt odd. She sensed something was not right!

"but how come, we did not see him come out in this elevator?"

'shit' Maria cursed in her thoughts.

The man faced her. She saw a blank face, without emotions.

"Maybe he already went outside before you could even arrived here maam."

Then the man smiled, Maria was still observing his face. She was looking for a more evident that this man came to her for something bad.

"can we go now maam? I don't want Sir Tobias waiting for us."

The man said again, still smiling warmly at her.

Maria contemplated for a while.

"Okay."
