Avi cried out as she unleashed her full power.

Her Mana was disappearing at a drastic pace yet to their surprise, the Bear King barely received any damage. It curled up into a ball and let his Ice Armor absorb all the damage.

"I will melt his armor and then we attack together!" Avi called out as she added another hand into the mix and increased the amount of flames. It was so hot that even Liu Ye could feel it but that didn't stop him from preparing himself.

10… 25... 50…

Ice Projectiles formed all around him after he gulped a Mana potion and he waited for the signal.

"Now!" Avi cried out as soon as she cut the flames and the bombarding began.

Roar!!

Bear King awakened under attack and waved with his massive paws to destroy the Ice Spikes. Sharp fragments flew in every direction which forced Liu Ye to retreat and hide behind an Ice Wall.

This was clearly not a battle for him but he still tried to contribute and earn the precious Elemental Mastery. His only choice to do any damage was to upgrade his Ice Projectiles and multiply his damage.

-900!

-900!

Slowly Avi began to hit more Ice Spikes and the Bear King's HP began to melt down in their favor. Everything looked perfect until they halved his HP and its eyes turned red.

Bang!

Bear King stood up on his rear feet before collapsing back down on the ground which caused the whole cave to shake as if an earthquake struck them. All the Ice Spikes that Avi prepared suddenly began to fall down uncontrollably and missed the target completely.

"This is not good," Liu Ye commented as he saw the Bear prepare to stand up and warned, "Avi! Watch—"

His voice was too slow as the Bear King jumped half-way through his warning and slapped Avi with full swing.

-1500!

Her body flew across the cavern like a broken kite before smashing into the wall. She lost 10% of her HP and lost consciousness as she fell down into the pond. Liu Ye wasn't even thinking when he already found himself in the water, diving to retrieve her back to the surface.

"Cough, cough!" Avi spat out water as she held onto Liu Ye's shoulders and looked at him with a smile. "Thank you. I knew you would save me."

"I have a plan," Liu Ye mentioned right away as he watched the Bear King's deadly stare. "Let's drown this bitch."

After getting inside the water, he couldn't help but recall the method he used to kill the Bandit Leader. This game was all about creativity and using your surroundings to your advantage. After all, everything was made out of Elements in this world.

"How do you want to drown a gigantic bear?" Avi questioned as she prompted them out of the pond. "We should rather tire him with attacks or else he will regenerate his armor."

Bear King wasn't attacking them at all but instead melted the water around him to form another Ice Armor. It seemed like he acknowledged Avi's power and proceeded carefully.

"It doesn't matter," Liu Ye replied confidently. "Bears can't breathe underwater so we can drown him. We can—"

Roar!!!

Liu Ye's words were muffled by the Bear King's roar as it finished remaking his armor and immediately launched an attack. He didn't have time to convince her so Avi had to trust him this time.

"Get the water and freeze him in place!" Liu Ye ordered urgently and manipulated the water from the pond into a huge water beam. Even though it wouldn't deal any damage, that wasn't the point.

Bear King ran straight through the water with no effort until Avi joined him and the water pressure intensified. They stopped the Bear King in place as it tried to dodge the water but it kept hitting him in the face.

"Freeze!" Liu Ye ordered and they momentarily changed the phase of the water into ice.

The whole body of Bear King began to freeze, halting its movements but they didn't stop at that. They kept building the ice around the Bear King until he became a thick icecube with only its head out in the open.

"Bear King can melt and manipulate Ice too. He will free himself soon," Avi pointed out worriedly but Liu Ye already dashed towards the target.

"Keep freezing!"

Bear King kept struggling to escape while growling when Liu Ye silenced him with a large water bubble around its head. After two minutes of a scramble, the King Bear finally began to lose HP. It gradually grew to -50 each second before staying at that level just as he expected.

"Don't stop freezing! Don't let him escape!" Liu Ye reminded after seeing cracks forming around the cube but Avi did a great job keeping the Bear King locked.

His 30,000 HP was ticking 50 HP at a time but Liu Ye didn't care how long he had to wait. He was getting both the Experience and the Elemental Mastery so his problems were solved.

[Ding! Your Elemental Mastery bar is full. You received one Elemental Point.]

He received a new point after just 10,000 HP was taken but it kept filling up. All he had to do was drink potions to not run out of mana while waiting for another free mastery point and a certain kill.

[Ding! Your Elemental Mastery bar is full. You received one Elemental Point.]

[Ding! You killed the King of the North. You received 67,200 Experience, 50 gold, and Water Stone. Due to the difference of 42 levels, you earned 51,200 bonus Experience. Your Experience gain was reduced due to third-party assistance.]

[Ding! Congratulations! You reached Level 20!]

As soon as the Bear King's eyes rolled to the back and he stopped struggling, Liu Ye's inbox got spammed with notifications. He knew he would receive double that amount if he killed on his own but Liu Ye wasn't greedy. He wouldn't be able to reach this point without Avi.

"Liu Ye, you are amazing!" Avi exclaimed right after, catching him off guard with a hug. He was about to push her away when a virtual window appeared behind her.

[Achievement]

'Do I need to hesitate?' Liu Ye thought as he tapped the first option.
