Chapter 13：Never Lie Again

Han Jie felt like she was dreaming; like time froze suddenly. She blinked multiple times to make sure that the man standing by the door was not an illusion.

'He is smiling at me?' She asked herself before a bright smile appeared on her face in return to his. Han Jie saw his mesmerizing eyes twitch slightly.

At this time, Bai Min was able to free his neck from Han Jie's legs. His face, red with embarrassment was currently covered with his hands, just like Jonah at that moment.

They both feel like burying themselves in the ground to hide from the current situation.

'Why is he even here?' Bai Min asked himself. 'Did Han Jie owe him something? Or plans to sue her for harassment?'

Bai Min glared at Han Jie who was still in her own world, blatantly ogling Shuzuki Kyou. He just wanted to choke her tiny neck for her being shameless. Or cover her with something to hide her crazy, infatuated fan girl look.

Probably, if not because of her previous action of jumping on Shuzuki Kyou, would the man bother to drop by in the infirmary?

Bai Min tried to hide his nervousness. Aside from the fact that they were caught in a very awkward position, and that it could be a stain on his reputation once it spread around, Shuzuki Kyou was a shareholder of the hotel that he was currently working with.

'I hope I don't lose my job because of this…' He then released a deep tired sigh as Bai Min could not really blame Han Jie for acting dumb and goofy sometimes.

If not because of her fascination with Shuzuki Kyou, would he be able to enjoy her current manga work? She was also able to support herself financially because of it.

'He is also the reason why Han Jie recovered from her humiliation during college days…' Bai Min thought to himself, sadly. 'At least, she is not screaming like a teenager right now.'

Clearing his throat, Bai Min tried to speak like nothing happened, "Ahm…Good afternoon good sirs. Please forgive us. My friend is just joking around. Are anyone of you not feeling well?" He asked as a doctor.

"Really? Is she just joking around?" Shuzuki Kyou asked curiously.

"Yes, sir." Bai Min replied, before whispering softly, "Han Jie apologize,"

"Huh? Why?"

"What do you mean why? Just do it." Bai Min insisted through clenched teeth. "Damn you. It is my job that is at stake." He murmured slowly under his breath, before taking a quick glance at Shuzuki Kyou to make sure he did not hear it.

Bam!

The moment he did, the door fell on the ground, which startled them.

"Your door is of low quality. With just one rough push it's already broken.

The hotel should not cost cut on this type of things it's too dangerous!" Han Jie commented disapprovingly.

"Ah… Hehe…" Those who saw how Shuzuki Kyou kicked the door chuckled nervously.

"You seem fine now, Ms. Han. This is my only warning to you. Do not lie again, or you will get what you deserve." Shuzuki Kyou said seriously before leaving her dumbfounded.

'Oh no! She was caught again!' Han Jie realized dejectedly.

"Wah! That hurts!" Han Jie exclaimed after Bai Min pulled her ear. "What do you mean by this?" She asked after she noticed that a blanket was around her upper body, keeping her from moving her arms.

"Really?" Bai Min asked with mock worry before pulling both of her ears, intentionally with force to let her feel the pain. "You really should be disciplined!"

Han Jie, unable to fight back could only give up. "Enough! Enough! I am sorry!" Tears already ran down her eyes, acting out was a way for her beg for mercy.

Even Jonah end up begging Bai Min to stop. He did stop, though he was aware that her tears were fake. "Stop it. I already told you. There are limitations for everything. Especially your wild imagination." He said with arms crossed over his chest.

Then he continued, "Now what? It is your first time meeting Shuzuki Kyou this close, and you already offended him. He even came here to check on you and see if you are alright, but it was all a sham. So do the right thing and apologize if you have a chance to see him. And please! Do not act like a stalker!"

Han Jie nodded her head in agreement. She really felt terrible and wanted to make things right. How could she let her idol continue remaining upset with her? 'At least, he did not know that my drawings of him are kinda kinky...'

She was also determined to make it up to him even though unsure on when she would see him again. 'Since he hates lying, then I will always tell the truth once we meet again. I will just tell him onset if I want a hug or a kiss.' Han Jie vowed to herself, unaware that she would once again need to lie…
