89 War is not important, what has been going on!?!?

Ravel had a private chat with Vulki and Nemesis for a little over an hour. She came back with a big smile plastered on her face. Perhaps it wasn't about 'private girl stuff'? Well, if it was something important, they would clue me in on what it was about.

"So, let's see..... What is up with your resource?" Gin

"Hmmm~? Ahh, it's a bit weird, you see the golden powder around my wings? I can use it to buff luck stats along with perception while debuffing an enemies. I can control this powder freely and create giant dust fields by spreading it out. I think it will work well with Nemesis' spore clouds~!" Ravel

So, a supporter. Ravel was never really one for fighting personally before, similar to how I operate in a way. Hmmmm.... I wonder how her spiderlings will operate..... Speaking of, we have a ridiculous amount of spawners at this point. Tessa has been working Nemesis and Xelu while I was gone. Before that she was working the rest when I was away attacking the Union. We should have around 170-180 spawners. Because of that, the nest is under constant expansion..... Back to the matter at hand.

"I'm a bit curious on how my spiderlings work. My spawners apparently spawn 10 every hour and can form swarms. I can also use them to gather information too, looking at a few of my perks." Ravel

... 10 every hour? Isn't that exceptionally faster then the rest of the spawners? Perhaps they are weak or something so numbers are used to make up for that?

We test it out. Ravel summons a giant white-gold cocoon which actually resembles a sack of spider eggs. The thing squirms a little which unsettles me a little. Nemesis' spawners are gaint fairy rings, Xelu's are bloody sludge pools, and Vulki's are Floating deepfire cubes. Kess has metal mounds that her spiderlings seem to crawl out of.... However, they all summon 1 spiderling every ten hours.

After an hour passes the writhing silky sack opens up and 10 golden moth-like creatures fly out. They resemble fairies quite a bit with their tiny humanoid figures. They are no bigger than a baseball. A few see Ravel and start floating around her in joy. Little golden particals float down as they flap their wings.

"They should be very weak... However, they have buffing and debuffing abilities too. On top of that there is no limit to the amount of buffs they can have applied to themselves. So it can theoretically stack indefinitely. Of course, buffs wear off after a certain period of time so that's not the case. Their main purpose should be to provide massive buffs to luck and perception to large forces while doing the opposite to enemy forces. I can also use them as remote viewers to use their enhanced perception to spy on things." Ravel

"I see~. My buffs can last around two weeks~! They also are way better than what these little fairy moths can do. There is even a special buff I can use.... I'll try it out now~!"

A golden dust flows around me and then disappears. I check my status and am left bewildered at the numbers.

I try looking around with my enhanced perception. I can see each line in the wall clearly. There is even a weird effect when I look at the fairies floating around Ravel. I can tell how their movements will be before they make them..... I don't think it's telling the future. More like I can tell based on their previous movements and the changes in the tenseness of their muscles..... It's weird.....

I focus on my other senses and they are enhanced as well. I can tell where I am exactly without needing to have my eyes open. I can smell Ravel from here as well. A sweet fragrant smell. Rather pleasant. I stop focusing on my senses and look at my luck stat... I have no idea how luck works.... Is it like fate or like plot armor in stories? What the hell is it?.... Well, if you think of what luck actually is.... You could..... Put it together with probability? Like changing the probabilities of everything to be more favorable. That's only a theory though. How much each attribute point does and how it does compared to someone else's attribute points in luck is impossible to guess.

"Gin~? I heard that you sleep with your broodmothers all the time~." Ravel

???? Yeah? That's a weird way to put it though. Makes it sound sexual if you say it like that?

"Yeah? That's all it is though, sleeping." Gin

Ravel whispers to herself. With my increased perception I can clearly catch what she is saying.

"Damn, Vulki lied to me. Saying that they do this and that with him as they sleep.... Wait, did she mean....." Ravel

....!?!? What are they doing to me as I sleep!?!? I need to have a long talk with Vulki now..... Nemesis walks in with a serious face on.

"Saint, it seems that the war between the Union and the Black Iron Pyre has resumed. A few areas of the Gin Theocracy have been attacked as well....." Nemesis

Gin Theocracy... Why did it have-..... Nevermind. Nemesis should know about that previous matter.

"Nemesis, do you also do things to me while I sleep?" Gin

".....Errrr- Yes..... It was just touching! I never did any of the more risky things like Vulki and Xelu!" Nemesis

She gave them away. I'm not suprised to hear about Vulki, but Xelu? Remembering what she makes her spiderlings do, I-.... What the hell have they been doing to me!?!?

"I need to know about this in full. Don't leave anything out." Gin

"Did I let a secret out?" Ravel

"Set and Kess haven't been part of it, they usually pass out at the same time you do..... It's mostly Vulki and Xelu.... I.... I watch over them to make sure they don't go too far!" Nemesis

Nemesis then goes on and tells me everything.....
