66 Family Gathering?......What A Joke!

"Did you put a tracking device in her phone?"

Nathan shook his head "We never expected anything like this so, how was i to know?"

Anna sighed "I understand you're frustrated and I am very sure this is all my fault. We just have to wait till he decides to contact us, until then.....I'm afraid we just have to sit and wait"

Nathan paced around the room, he was impatient. He couldn't take a flight to china because there might be chance the man isn't even there.

"Just calm down...." Nina said patting her brother's shoulder.

Anna's phone beeped which got everyone's attention.

"Who...Who is it from?"

Anna silently stared at the screen, her grip on the phone tightened "Lu Zhang says he wants all of us....all of us to come over"

The other three women couldn't help but shiver, which means he knew they were all together....what was he trying to achieve?

"Ok....Where is he?, did he send an address? Anything?" Nathan asked rather impatiently.

"The Mansion....The Lu mansion in City S..."

Anna was still shaken, she could almost imagine what Rose was going through meeting that man again. The man was gathering his entire family like he was about to state a will. Anna couldn't help but ge nervous, she felt like things won't end well.

"Anna....I think it would be beat if you stayed back" Wei Wei said putting her hand on Anna's shoulder.

Anna raised her eyebrows "Why?.....he said everyone"

"Wei Wei is right Anna, It quite clear that he wants you there for a reason....we just found you and we can't lose you again" Nina said taking Anna's hands into her's.

Anna felt warm, they cared foot her this much. It had been so long since was she was shown this kind of sisterly affection....

"I understand your concerns but either way, as a barrette it is my mission and duty to protect and save the innocent from distress....I know you are all worried about me but it would be best if we all go together"

Although they hesitated, everyone still accepted. They left the apartment not long after while Nathan made a secret call.

"I never thought I would be meeting you like this father in-law"

Shola said as she rested her face in her palms and stared at the man with a lazy smile.

Lu Zhang had to admit, he was getting annoyed with this woman who kept acting like she was paying him a visit rather than being kidnapped.

Clara and her three children were there as well, after getting the instruction from her husband, Clara didn't hesitate to call her son who was overseas.

She was happy, even though the man wasn't dead, he was still going to make his will. She was excited about all of these things till she saw Sholana, she called Lu Zhang, father in-law.

She finally found out that she wasn't actually the only woman in this man's life...he had other children!

"Father In-law you look tensed.....do you need a massage?"

"Shut up!" Lu Zhang finally lost it, these day he had been put in an extremely bad mood because of how Anna had outsmarted him and now.....Shola's father was his very good friend that was why he didn't want to hurt her but if she kept pushing his buttons.....

Hearing the man's loud voice, Shola shrugged started playing with her fingers. She needed to keep up this facade, she didn't want them to think she was weak or scared.....she wasn't!

"Oh would you look at that....My entire fancily is finally here!" Lu Zhang said coldly glaring at the people who just walked in.

Anna stared at the man indifferently, looking around she only saw Shola. Her expression changed "Where is Ella?"

Shola was shocked, she didn't know that Ella was here with them....she had an unsettling feeling, where was her daughter?

Lu Zhang chuckled "I have seven grown up children but only one has given me a grand child.....don't you think I will get a bit attached?"

Nathan's fists clenched "Lu Zhang! Don't go too far!"

Lu Zhang stared at Nathan for a few seconds before turning his head to his other son. Out of all his children, Dylan was the most useless. All he cared about was spending money on women and drinks....the sight of this boy always disgusted him!

"And you!....I have other plans for you..."

Hearing the man's voice, Nina had been constantly reminded of her past. What this man had made her go through.....she was pissed!

"Just tell us the reason why we're all here already so that we can be on our way!.....You might not notice it but not everyone likes staring at your face!" She said angrily.

Lu Zhang laughed like he had just heard a funny joke "It seems the quiet one finally spoke up.....how is your husband by the way?"

Nina's clenched her fists tightly, his words really hurt her because he didn't even know..."They divorced four years ago Lu Zhang...you would have know that if you weren't such an idiot!"

Lu Zhang turned his head and glared at Shola "Who gave you the right to speak?....This is a family gathering and you are not part of it!"

"Hahahaha....." a melodious laughter was heard, it was filled with scorn and sarcasm. Anna raised her head, her eyes still smiling as she stared at her father indisgust "Family gathering?....What a joke!"

Anna chuckled coldly before walking towards the man, standing in front of him, staring directly into his eyes coldly and moved her lips "This is not a family gathering....daddy! This is just thebgathering of people who want you dead!"

Lu Zhang looked down at the girl, this was the first time someone had ever challenged him this way...looking him directly in his eyes.

"You are playing with fire young woman!"

Anna could see the blood lust in his eyes, it seemed he was ready to kill her but for some reason she wasn't afraid.....she didn't waver.. Infarct hearing his words gave her more courage, a sinister smile appeared on her lips
