64 The Whole Family.....

After getting the call from Anna, Nathan's guilt acted up again. He really regretted sending his mother to that man in the first place.

"Is something wrong?" Shola asked noticing his downcast expression.

"The old madam is currently with Anna" Nathan sighed.

Shola smiled "Then what are we waiting for?...Mr handsome, let's go already" She said pulling his arm like a spoil child.

She knew he wouldn't go because of guilt so she resorted to puppy dog eyes.

"Sholana what are you doing?" Nathan asked as he watched her stare at him with a very pitiful expression.

"You know I can't go.....she must be really angry at me"

Shola pouted "If my parents can forgive each other and start afresh then, so can you and your mother" Shola said seriously. "Lets go " she repeated making Nathan sigh in surrender

"Ok....lets go"

Anna made breakfast for her mother, something she had been wanting to do for a very long time.

They both ate peacefully that morning, Anna didn't tell her mother about her call to Nathan. Instead she distracted her by talking about Bai Sheng throughout their breakfast.

Bai Sheng had said he would come when he was less busy but, it had been two days and she still hasn't gotten a call from him.

Were Army generals really that busy?...Anna sighed, she was really beginning to miss him.

While Anna was busy with the dishes, the door bell rang. Her mother was quick to answer it.

Nathan was surprised when he saw his mother in front of him, he wasn't expecting her to be the first person to answer the door.

He suddenly became tongue tied and stared at her like an idiot.

"Nathan...." The old madam said smiling, her eyes already filled with tears.

Shola tapped Nathan's arm lightly. Nathan nodded holding his mother's hands "Mom.....I'm sorry"

Hearing her son address her as such, the old madam's smile grew brighter and she hugged her son tight.

Nathan was shocked, this was definitely the first time his mother had ever hugged him.....the very first time.

"No need to apologize silly boy. I'm the one who is sorry" the old madam said looking at Shola "I am very sorry"

Shola smiled and shook her head "Its all in the past now....mother in-law"

"Why are all of you standing here? is ther a party going on?" Anna joked flashing a smile at her brother.

Seeing everyone, Anna couldn't help but double check before closing the door.

She turned to look at her brother with creased brows "Where's Ella? "

Hearing her question, Shola gasped "Oh no! I can't believe I forgot about that. School must be over by now" Shola groaned and grabbed her purse

"Sorry, I'll have to go now...." Shola quickly left the apartment while Anna and the old madam looked at Nathan with a surprised expression. "You forgot your daughter at school?" Anna asked feeling a bit surprised. Just how occupied were their brains?

"I can't believe I forgot Ella" Shola grumbled to herself as she made her way to the car.

Just when she was about to go in, she felt a soft cloth cover her mouth and nose.

Someone held her tightly in an embrace practically squeezing her.

She tried to struggle but she soon felt too weak to fight back and she finally succumbed to darkness.

'Did just get kidnapped?....again?'

"Should we tell Anna now? It's pointless to keep things from her anymore" Bai Sheng said looking at the twins.

Su Chen nodded "If its the Anna I know, she must be blaming her self....did I really sleep for 2 years?"

"How many times are you going to ask that?" Li Chen asked getting annoyed.

Su Chen shrugged and looked at Bai Sheng "Did I really?"

Bai Sheng sighed and shook his head "I wish I could say I didn't miss this...." he muttered under his breath.

"What was that?"

Bai Sheng awkwardly cleared his throat "Nothing....now....who is going to volunteer to tell Anna?"

Li Chen looked at Bai Sheng "You're her boyfriend"

Su Chen's eyes widened "You and Anna are dating.....that means I died for nothing!"

"Shut up!" both of them said, they almost forgot how irritating this guy could be.

Bai Sheng cleared his throat and turned to look at Li Chen "I might be but, you're the person who started this whole mess. Switching identities with your brother and all....you are the perfect candidate to explain"

"He is right!" Su Chen added looking serious. "Even though I was a part of this....I'm sick so...."

Li Chen groaned in frustration,the pepsin he was most afraid to approach was Anna.

He heard from Bia Sheng just how determined she was when she was trading to to get revenge for 'his' death.

Wouldn't this be the same as telling her that all of her training was for nothing?.

"Fine....I'll pay her a visit" Li Chen said, it didn't matter. It was his responsibility to tell her.

"I just have one last question"

"What!?" Li Chen and Bai Sheng growled at their brother.

"How did you and Anna start dating?"

"Argh! Su Chen, you are hopeless!" Bai Sheng said as he stood up and left.

"What's with him?" Su Chen asked his twin with a confused expression.

Li Chen patted his brother's shoulder "If I wasn't your twin? I would be following behind him"

Su Chen scoffed and looked away, he wasn't that annoying.

"Have you had breakfast?" The old madam asked Nathan while still holding his hand.

"No, I'm good" Nathan smiled at his mother with loving eyes.

Anna groaned clutching her chest "This PDA will be the end of me....."

The door bell rang again and Anna decided not to disturb the two love birds so she decided to go and get it.

Anna stared dumbfounded at the two women standing in front of her. If course she knew who they were even though she hadn't met them before. A warm smile appeared on her face as she pulled the both of them into an affectionate hug.

"Anna....who is it?" Nathan asked loudly.

Anna hugged the women tighter and"The whole family...."
