62 It's Been Long Since I Had Fun

Lu Zhang stared at the girl with an amused expression

"Children?"

If these were who she called children then his other men will be toddlers.

These were the best of the best he had, he didn't want to make a mistake by underestimating her but now.....he was beginning to doubt his own men.

When Anna got the reaction she wanted from everyone, she smiled.

No one actually knew she was bluffing. Although she was well skilled as well as one of the best, she would be called a demon if she took all of these men on without dying.

There was no way she could do it, she saw their legs shaking and smiled coldly,she could at least scare them.

"Are you guys waiting for an invitation?.....come at me!"

"Wait!" When Lu Zhang realized the men were foolishly going to attack, he panicked. Even he couldn't see through the girl's expression, if she beats up all of his best men he would end up defenseless which would give his other enemies an advantage.

"Why daddy? Are you scared" Anna looked at the men with blood lust in her eyes.

One of them gulped audibly, why was such a petite girl so scary?

Lu Zhang clenched his fists and signaled his men.

They all left the door and went behind Anna, the entrance was finally cleared.

Anna looked at her father with a smug look, standing in front of the door was a long golden pole, it was covered in gold and looked extremely expensive.

"I want this pole! I like it" Anna laughed loudly inwardly. The man thought she didn't know his plan.

She took the pole without waiting for her father's reply. It was heavy, Anna thanked the heavens. This would make things easier for her.

Once Anna opened the huge double door and prepared to leave, Lu Zhang signaled his men to attack from behind. Anna heard their slow footsteps and smirked.

She observed how thick the pole was and tightened her grip on her mother's wrist.

"When I tell you to run.....you know what? never mind"

Anna turned around suddenly turned around surprising the men who were already standing in front of the door.

She quickly pushed the doors close and putthe golden pole through the handles on the doors sealing them shut!

The old madam stared at the girl in surprise, even she didn't know the men were planning to attack.

"Lets go mom" Anna smiled at the surprised woman before moving forward.

Lu Zhang stared at his men dumbfounded, he had been fooled by his own daughter?

The men still couldn't get the door open, they all suddenly halted in their actions when they heard their boss' laugh

The man began to laugh heartily but everyone could see through that smile that a storm was brewing.....he was angry!

Anna didn't waste time to book a flight to City S, it was hard leaving the estate alone. She wasn't planning to sit and wait for Lu Zhang to attack.

"Anna....that was amazing!" The old madam said filled with pride, she had no idea that there was anyone in this world who could outsmart that man.

"That was fun, its been long since I had fun" Anna giggled staring out the window. It seems she also underestimated her father, she thought she would just go there once, kill him, get on with life. It was all for naught, all of her planning.

Anna was frustrated, even after pushing her self to the limit for two years, she was still weak. She couldn't win against that man.

It had been three hours since Anna arrived at City S, she gave her mother her bed and called Nathan. After telling him about everything and getting scolded by him, they finally ended the call.

The old madam had already fallen asleep due to exhaustion, Anna stared at her Mother's face with a smile.

At least her journey was not in vain and her shamelessness finally paid off!

Anna laughed trying to imagine the look on her father'sface right after she left.

Now the only thing on her mind now was....calling Bai Sheng. She knew her note must have been annoying and he would be probably worried about her right now.

Anna dialed his number and it got answered almost immediately "Anna?"

Anna heard his worried voice over the phone and suddenly felt warm

"Hey....darling, how have you been?"

Bai Sheng who was currently sitting in his office in full uniform scoffed.

"How have I been?" he asked angrily. She had turned the entire city upside down looking for her, he had been so worried that he had been neglecting his duties because he thought something bad might have happened to her.

"I'm sorry.....it was really important" he heard the girl apologize and his tone became softer "Why didn't you at least tell me where you were going? I was worried sick about you Anna"

"I'm sorry.....it won't happen again,I promise"

Bai Sheng fought the smile that was threatening to appear on his lips and sighed "When I'm less busy I'll come over, you better be prepared to tell me everything"

"Yes! Yes! As long as you've forgiven me, I'll tell you anything you want to know"

Bai Sheng laughed hearing the girl's words "I'll speak to you later Anna"

Bai Sheng hung up as he stared at the man in a suit walking in.

The man smiled slightly, if one took a closer look they would see that Bai Sheng and the man looked similar to each other.

"Mr Ling An" Bai Sheng greeted although not hiding the coldness in his voice.

"Oh, come on little brother, not need to be so polite" The man said with a huge grin sitting comfortably on the seat across Bai Sheng.
