52 Caught!

It didn't take long for Jackson Filler to be caught.

Anna actually thought it was going to be really hard but turns out the guy was a total idiot compared to the way they described him.

Just like that her first mission came to an end, she felt fulfilled. She had just gotten justice for Sholana,she was extremely happy.

Going back to the island 3 days after, Anna fell sick. Maybe she wasn't used to taking alcohol or maybe it was because of the unnecessary stress she bad lit on her self.

Anna stayed in her room for a few days with no intention to come out.

Amber and Angel began to worry. Anna always kept to her self when something was wrong. They wondered if she had been traumatized by her first mission or not.

Amber had no choice but to leave the task of finding out Anna's condition to Angel.

She had to leave the island as well and wouldn't return for a few days.

Angel knocked on Anna's door and kept getting the same reply everytime

Anna didn't know when it started but, she hated it when people saw her weak ever since she began to walk. It had become a challenge for her to tell anyone about her pain or about her sicknesses.

Anna didn't think that the fever was serious so she decided that it would be better to just stay in for a few days and try to treat herself.

Although her fever did show signs of subsiding, winter was already near and the sudden cold began to make her feel worse.

A week after returning from City W, Anna decided that she needed to leave her room. Although she had everything she needed in there, she was beginning to feel suffocated.

Putting on a brown fur coat which was given to her by her brother, Anna left her room and decided to take a short walk.

The island was always exceptionally cold when it was winter, it never snowed but the winds would become much more chillier.

Anna sneezed a couple of times while wrapping her self tightly in her coat.

She really missed her brother, she began considering leaving the base for a few months before resuming her duties later on.

Anna closedher eyes and sighed. She was deep in thoughts she didn't realize that she had bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry " It was then Anna realized her hours her voice was, she seemed to have caught a cold

"Ahoo! " Anna sneezed for the nth time and sighed again. She really needed to get some medicine.

"Anna?, are you feeling okay?" That was when Anna noticed the person standing in front of her.

"Bai Sheng?"

Bai Sheng seeing the girl's flustered state couldn't help but smile. He noticed that she had been like this around him ever since she told him her feelings...

"Are you sick?"

Anna who was about to shake her head felt his big cold palm on her forehead.

Anna shivered slightly and instantly flushed.

"You have a fever" Bai Sheng said staring at the girl's face with eyes filled with concern.

Anna saw that look in his eyes and struggled to stop a smile. This was her opportunity to find out how he truly felt about her.

Anna's brows furrowed and she held her head like she felt dizzy.

She suddenly 'slipped' and 'fell' into Bai Sheng's arms.

Bai Sheng quickly caught her holding her tightly in his embrace

"Are you okay?"

Anna didn't answer his question but kept staring into his eyes looking for at least a glimpse of emotion.

"Anna? is something wrong?" Bai Sheng noticing her gaze, fought a blush that crept in and cleared his throat awkwardly.

Anna shook her head and balanced herself. She felt disappointed but didn't show it. She was sure he felt the same way!

Anna sighed and created distance between her and him.

"Thank you....." Those words managed to escape from her lips before her sight suddenly became blurry.

Her head began to pound and she felt really dizzy. She landed on his body again this time her eyes were closed shut.

"Anna?" Bai Sheng panicked, the girl had fainted in his arms.

Her temperature was so high her wondered if she even cared about her health walking around with such a high fever.

Without hesitating, he carried the girl up in his arms. After getting the tour from his sister, he naturally knew where Anna's room was located.

Feeling conflicted whether to enter the girl's room or not, he just stood there staring at the door.

"Mm...." The girl in his hands groaned as her brows furrowed, her face was covered in cold sweat and was red.

"Scr*w it!" Bai Sheng cursed as he opened the door and walked into the room.

The room was not as big as he imagined and it only had a few furniture. The room wasn't luxurious but it felt warm and cozy.

"Water...."

hearing the girl's words, Bai Sheng snapped out of his daze and kept her on the bed.

Making sure she was well covered with a blanket, he opened the small fridge and searched for water.

After making sure it was warm enough, he poured it into a glass and kept it at her bedside.

"Anna....can you sit?" Anna opened her teary eyes and stared at the man talking to her.

He looked extremely alluring at the moment, he was like a caring husband taking care of his wife.

Anna shook her head at her won stupid thoughts and slowly sat up with the help of Bai Sheng.

"Here, drink" Bai Sheng said bringing the glass to her lips.

He stared at the girl's lips as she gulped down the water slowly. He fell into a daze thinking of what it would feel like to kiss her....

Due to being weak, Anna was quite clumsy as some of the water she trued to swallow flowed down her chin down to her neck...

Bai Sheng found himself lost just staring at her.

Anna was already done drinking but the person holding the glass to her lips didn't seem to notice.

Anna felt his gaze on her lips and flushed. She licked her lips and coughed lightly bringing the man out of his daze.
