21 Daddy Is Coming Back

"Ella....I can't do that" Shola tried to reason with her, she herself was confused on what to do as she had not seen her daughter like this before.

"Call him! I want to talk to him now! or else I am going to go and look for him myself!" the once cute angel now looked like a little demon, Su Chen stared at the girl in awe although no one knewwhat to do to calm her down.

"Ella" Anna finally spoke up, unlike the other two adults in the room her face was calm and she was smiling slightly

"Come here" she gestured with her hand, Ella shook her head angrily and refused to budge

"Come on, Aunty Anna just wants to talk to you"

Ella hesitated a bit before walking towards Anna.

Anna raises the girl and put her comfortably on her lap. Anna wiped the tears from her face "Daddy is not dead"

"But mummy said....."

"You didn't hear what mummy said clearly" Anna interrupted the girl before stroking her hair gently

"Mummy was telling me a story, do you want to hear it?" Anna asked the girl who had already calmed down a bit. Ella nodded cutely.

"There was once a little girl, she was very cute and chubby just like you" Anna managed to force a smile out of Ella.

"Her daddy left for a far place one day and she was very sad, she kept asking her mother when he was going to come back but she only kept saying very soon" Anna sighed "Do you know what the girl did?"

Ella shook her head again "She decided to go and look for her daddy herself because she got tired of waiting so she left but, the same day she left the house, that was the day her father came home"

"Really?" Ella asked

"Really" Anna smiled at the girl "She had to turn around and go back home and the journey back sooo far so in the end since she didn't have patience, she reached her house late at night very tired and she didn't see her father till the next day and by then all of the gifts he brought had been taken by others"

"I want to wait for daddy" Ella suddenly said making Anna smile

"Yes....and I will wait for him with you" Anna said running her fingers through the girl's hair. Ella began to feel drowsy and soon fell asleep on Anna's lap looking cute like an angel again.

"That was a very stupid story but it worked" Su Chen said staring at the little girl who was now sleeping peacefully.

"Yeah...it is right?...." Anna replied absent minded.

That story actually brought back a lot of memories, of her time in the village with her mother.

Even though she could walk at that time, she was still considered a weirdo among the children.

This was because she had a teacher, he wasn't any ordinary man. He was an ex-convict and he was the weirdest man in the village.

People tell their children to stay away from the man because he spent 25years in prison for murdering someone he never told her about.

No matter how much her mother had warned her about the man, she never really listened because only she herself truly knew how skilled the man was.

He was extremely smart and for her at that time he was a god, he taught her how to be a professional thief and all those teachings actually paid off.

The only friend she ever had in that village was the little girl in her story, Diane.

She was a very impatient little girl but she was the only person nice to Anna.

A few days after her father came back, they left for the states and never returned, she heard that their plane crashed and no one survived. She was so sad back then that she couldn't bring her self to eat for 3days straight.

Just a year before she found out about her father, her teacher left the village leaving only a short note and his most treasured weapon to her.

"Be strong" were the only words he left for her, although she was sad, his golden dagger made up for everything.

She remembered how happy she was when her mother told her they would be leaving the village to meet her father for the first time, she was so excited that she could finally leave the boring village and meet up with her sisters.

Little did she know what she was walking into.

"Daddy.....I want my daddy..." Anna stared at the sleeping girl on her lap, she was talking in her sleep.

Anna sighed feeling sorry for the girl. Patting her shoulder gently lulling her back to sleep.

Anna couldn't help but feel jealous of Ella, her father must have showed her so much love for her to miss him so much.

Although she had a father, the man never showed her any love, the only thing he had done for her was to give her the wheel chair and credit card as compensation for causing her accident.

Her step mother and sisters misunderstood it and favoritism and hated her more, till today no one knows that her father was the person who put her on this wheel chair, the one who made her like this.
