Chapter 20：The Street Fighter characters will be very proud of me *Eye of the Tiger plays in the background*

How absurd of me and very informal and unrighteous of me, I know, hey don't look at me, he forced me to, and I was pushed to my very limit, I don't want anyone messing with my friends just like that (especially Elise.), and it's my time to teach Ethan a lesson, I don't want him messing around anyone just like that nor bossing around the school, doing anything he wants like he owns everything in this world. But still, it is bad to just to challenge somebody, well, wish me luck after class.

Ethan stomped away from the cafeteria rubbing his cheek and jaw, angered of course by my very charismatic attitude.

I sat kneeled in front of Elise and she still seems very disturbed for what she did, and to be honest, I was too. It's like Elise just got a strength surge, maybe it was triggered by anger and hit Ethan but I don't know, I figured I should not ask with Elise's state like this. I fixed her messed up hair and put my hand in his arms so that I can make her feel that I'm just here, for her, ew, too romantic.

I stood up and offered my arm to Elise "Come, let's get some air, John, let's go too."

Elise took my arm and we walked outside with John to the benches in the hallway for air and then we sat.

"Elise, are you okay? Are you hurt?" I asked her with full of concern, and John also at her side giving her comfort.

"I- yeah,"She stammered "Just the slap, and I know you saw the lighting sparks when I did that, I think something is wrong with me, and I think it's not some weather disturbance anymore and I'm scared."

"Don't you want that?"John said with enthusiasm, "You are super powered; I'll call you 'Lighting Girl' or the 'Lady Flash'"

I punched John in his arm that he almost fell from the bench.

"It's going to be okay." I assured her.

"But Ramil, you will really challenge that chunk of a man? But he is dangerous!"

"It's okay, at least I can teach this man a lesson never to bother this campus ever again." I told them sternly.

"May I see your hands Elise?" I asked.

She held her hands gingerly, "But I might hurt you."

"It's okay, I'll just take a look." I told her as she showed her hands and I told Eve subconsciously to scan her hands but Eve didn't find anything except that her hands releases remnants of electric charge around it.

And she took back her hand "Now I am a freak." As she buried her face in her hands.

"Too beautiful to be a freak." As I put my arm over her shoulder (in a brotherly way, okay?) "Stop thinking about that Elise, what matters now is you are okay and I'm going to kick his butt for what he did to you." Elise seemed to ease off a bit and smirked.

And then the bell rang. "Oh well, we should go now to our classes once again, ugh. Let's go." I told them as we hurried to our rooms.

And once again, we are inside our paradise of a classroom on the afternoon, just listening to so boring lectures with some boring teachers and their very childish activities that doesn't seem to relate in the future on what will we do with our lives and that makes me wonder, of I got to use algebra in Anakdatu, I shuddered, that's an evil thought.

I do by some time ask Elise how she was by sign language.

'How. You?' I signed my two hands breaking a cookie and pointing at her.

She understood the sign and she signed back 'Not good. Bored. You ready match later?'

'Now. Good' I signed back

She pointed at me and whacked a peace sign in her head which simply meant 'You stupid'. How sweet.

So yeah, that is how my afternoon was and there is nothing much to talk about.

And the weird thing is, I didn't saw Ethan around class, maybe he is training for his fight later (me such an airhead). I am not even sure if I could stand against him, he's large, surely but he seemed to have some skills too because for one to be on the top of the food chain, one must be threatening enough to be on top so yeah, we'll see later on.

Finally (heavenly choir sings), classes have finally ended and now we are going home, but of course, not yet.

John, Elise and I walked towards the outside of the gate and to our spot outside with Steve where we encountered Ethan yesterday and we ordered our street foods to Steve.

John seems to be looking around "Where is your opponent Ramil? We've got snacks already! So while we watch you, we eat."

"You sure about this?" Elise asked with worry.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm sure." I said as I chewed my fish balls.

Elise pointed to the backup "That's unfair!"

"Maybe we could be your back up?" John suggested with optimism.

"Guys," As I stood up and made my way to the challengers "I can handle this, stay there."

I went face to face with my opponent, not really, I meant like 1 foot kind of face to face because he is a foot taller than me and he looks like a foot (OHHHHHH!).

"Good Afternoon Mr. McLemmings," I motioned to his backup " Nice backup dancers you've got there."

"McLevin!" he bellowed "And yeah, so have you changed your mind in protecting your girlfriend with a hell of a slap?"

"Oh not a bit, unless you wanted to be slapped by her again?" I replied.

He made a growling sound in his throat "Oh well, let's begin" He said as he fixed his fighting stance, and he chose the stance of a boxer, oh well, very ineffective against street fights.

I never have been with a street fight before, nor I did fight other human beings because all I fought on Anakdatu are simulations, and then there comes high speed Splinter Cell guys, janitor Narutos and scrawny ice cream vendors wherein I can push with my all out strength, but with humans, and especially humans you do not plan to kill, I tell you, it is very hard.

As he chose his boxer stance, which is really stupid in a street fight for you only use your fists while fighting. On a street fight, everything is possible, a kick, a cheap move, a kick to the groin and so on, I have been trained fully to know the extent of that. My stance is well, just standing with my feet in front of the other so I can do a quick move in dire need. Who needs a boxing stance if you can just stand up.

People started crowding around us and shouting and telling us to fight now. I saw John and Elise by the crowd and I glanced at Elise and signed 'You can do it.'. Bruh.

Mr. McLemmings and his minions, and I of course just rotated in a circle and Ethan shouted to land a punch, okay, your request but first, I plan.

I plan to disable one of his minions first for I am sure he brought the others to lock me down while Ethan uses me as a punching bag, so classic but I am ready for that too.

"Okay, let's go." I finally said.

And once again, havoc mode, I charged an I disabled his first minion, the one who is near to me by heel-palm striking his nose, a very useful disabling trick in Krav Maga that doesn't injure too much than a kick on the groin or in gouging out one's eyes, and I tripped him up with a simple take down move. First minion down.

I also noticed that Steve played 'Eye of the Tiger' in his stereo, yay! Battle music!

Now, two of his minions, went nuts maybe because their friend was down, but they charged at the same time on a grabbing motion as if to grab my arms, but no, You can't touch this, Hammer time, I did the same to the other two which is very simple.

The crowd cheered 'Ramil! Ramil! Ramil!' and with my training in Anakdatu, I can mentally lower the noise in my mind so I can focus on my task well, thanks for the training Macabulos!

"Still won't surrender?" I asked Ethan.

He looked very angry, and a rule from Lokanath Swami, anger makes one blind, oh well. Then he charged and tried to punch a straight jab at me which I have dodged. I found an opening I did a quick uppercut to his solar plexus which stunned him and a glisha kick in the chest which made him fall down.

John yelled "He finished the fight in 48 seconds!" And the crowd cheered.

Phew, that was easy, and I stood up in front of him and offered a hand "Seems like you won't be bothering us anymore, eh?" I smiled.

He grunted and sighed afterwards "I'm sorry," and she looked at Elise too "I'm sorry too."

He stood up, together with his minions and went away running down the street, clutching their noses and Ethan his solar plexus.

And once again, the crowd cheered for the last time but they also dissipated leaving me and my two friends in the area, so once again, we sat by the bench and rested.

"You didn't seem to break any sweat, but you are so awesome!" John exclaimed while he clapped my back.

Elise relaxed as she sat and punched me in my arm, friendly, "You're too good, thanks," And she whispered closely to my ear "My hero."

John seems to notice that "Wait, is that a kiss?"

"No!" Elise and I said in unison.

And once again, we laughed heartily like nothing bad ever happened today.

After awhile, we walked Elise first to her home, bid our farewells and I walked John at his home and bade my good bye too.

As I walked home and I got to the alleyway that heads to The Hut jr., I felt something tingle in my neck, and I looked back, I saw a shadow of a man looming near the gate of the school.

"Eve," I told my glasses "look that up."

After seconds of scanning Eve finally announced "A human sir, but his identification cannot be scanned due to darkness."

I took one more look at the man, as he looks like he is watching me, but meh, I've got no time for this so I ran towards my home.
