Chapter 10：School Supplies? Meh, I meant Spy Gadgets.

Good morning everyone! Guess what, it is the first day of school today! The very important and the most exciting part of the year because it is the last day a human is going to see the sunshine, the flowery grassy meadows, the butterflies fluttering through the gardens of flowers, the last time a human person is going to feel freedom and be eaten by the monstrosity of school itself. (Oh, *fainting action, the feels.)

My day started the same way as how a day started in The Hut, a booming set of snare drums, trumpets, and a taste of the Philippine's national anthem, Lupang Hinirang. And as the first beat came, I stood up and fixed my bed as quick as possible and I saw the time, it is 5 am, why so early people? Why?

I went to The Hut junior's mini gym, did the physical regimen that I get used to from Macabulos. I finished my workout regimen within 15 minutes and I am drenched in sweat, so yeah. I cleaned myself off, took a bath and I put on my undershirt and boxers, put on Eve and I went to the kitchen, lodged a Mac n' Cheese to the microwave and ate my breakfast. This is heaven.

"Good morning sir!" Eve greeted me with such warmth that you will not expect from a machine or computer.

I yawned, "Good morning too Eve." I replied and she told me the weather forecast for today and it's going to be sunny. Also she told me about certain news headlines to complete my morning.

After some time that I finished eating my breakfast, Macabulos called in my glasses, so then, I answered it.

"Hello Macabulos, good morning, good day today and good weather, I missed the outside world, you know." I gave an intro to Macabulos.

"Good morning agent, I told you not to get distracted as this is your first day of school too, and also, the first day of your mission." He told me hastily.

"Oh yeah, sorry. So my mission data?" I asked Macabulos.

"Very well then, head to your bedroom." He told me.

I went upstairs and went to my bed room as Macabulos have ordered.

"Okay, I am here now, so what's up?" I have asked for I am curious.

"Good, now, it's time to introduce to you your own weapons and gears of war. First, put on your battle armor, a.k.a. your school uniform.

I put on my uniform, and as I was putting it on, he is introducing what is the uniform made of. Oh, and about on how it looks like, it's just a normal black vest with the school "Sinag Araw High" logo on the left chest of the vest, then what is inside the vest is a dress shirt and then black pants and a pair of black leather oxford shoes.

"Datu Puti, now I introduce to your greatest battle armor, designed always by Sumakwel and his R&D department. This baby is simply a formal type of the awesome suit, well uniform type. The strands here are also made of omnimetal mesh but stronger than before by adding a higher percentage of diamond and titanium to the mix. Just like the awesome suit, it is bulletproof, slashproof and anything-proof, and also absorbs 100% of the impact made by anything so you won't feel anything from bullets and stuffs. And also the necktie, it is made of high tensile strength omnimetal mesh where you can use it as a rope that can lift utmost 20 tons" He told me while I put on my uniform.

"Awesome." I simply replied.

"Where do you guys get your budget to make such technologies?" I asked Macabulos.

"Oh, only Lakan Dula knows that but I assume, from hitman missions made for the upper class Datus. Anyways, moving on, now, get that foldable umbrella." Macabulos ordered me.

I grabbed the umbrella. It's a normal black foldable umbrella, but quite heavy than usual. It has three buttons in the handle, one says "open", one has the logo of a target mark and one that shows a logo of a sword. On the other side of the buttons in the handle, there is a metal thingy that I have no idea what is it.

Macabulos, as always with mischief in his eyes, "Now, that umbrella, is your weapon, as weapons are banned in schools, well, it's a multi weapon. That umbrella's textile, too is made from the same material, omnimetal mesh, that you can use as a shield from most attacks and also to protect your head while you are at it. Now, see the three buttons in the handle, the first button that says open, well, opens the umbrella. The next button shows the sniper mode of the umbrella, press it and it will lengthen and show the trigger on the metal on the other side of the buttons. Take a look."

I checked it out, pressing the buttons located in the handle of the umbrella, it is awesome! "Macabulos, well, this is a lot and thank you so much, but this cannot be scanned by any metal detectors right?" I asked.

He laughed, "Of course not, you think I will put your life in danger?"

"Uh, you trapped me in your office once, right?" I asked him.

He grumbled "Moving on, now, let's explore more of your gadgets."

I know, I know, it will take so long if I explained every weapon and gadget one by one and it is boring so I will just give you a brief summary for the next ones. The next object Macabulos introduced to me is the watch, well, it is a smart watch and the good thing it can only do is turn into a shield by hitting the watch in a Ben 10 style of motion. It is a normal silver lined Quartz watch (the watches that ticks a.k.a. not digital.) with a leather strap for class. Then after the watch comes the ball pens, well, as students, we know "Pen is mightier than a sword.". But these pens, these are high grade inject able paralyzing fluids that one can use on enemies. They only look like 10 normal disposable pens that probably caused 10 pesos but yeah, I'll use it someday. The next gadget is the bag, well, what the bag has is first, it s made with omnimetal material and second, it comes with a parachute in case of emergencies based on what Macabulos said.

"And that is all Datu Puti, anymore questions?" As he concluded his very informative speech.

"Oh nothing more, except, my mission data?" I asked him.

"Oh, yeah, sorry." He facepalmed himself, "Well, your school is just across the street of your base so within 5 minutes range, and you are already in there. And about Ms. Vertucio, we have no pictures yet of her, I don't know what is wrong with our tech guy not putting pictures but your smart glasses will notify you once she is near."

"Oh, how does that work?" I asked him, I feel like an annoying curious kid.

"I don't know!" He raised his hands like God please zap this human, "Sumakwel did all those not me! But I think it has something to deal with the energy thingy they are saying. So all clear soldier?"

I raised my hand for one more question.

"What?!" Macabulos asked one more time.

"Uh, do I have to like do my best on school things and such? Like should I be like a normal student? Don't I have any alias something something?" I asked Macabulos.

"Do your best, this will be like the continuation of your schooling Datu Puti so indeed do your best and no need for alias here, be yourself but protect the organization, you know what is confidential and not okay? Now, all clear?" Macabulos asked finally.

"Yes sir." I said finally, too.

Macabulos disconnected to Eve and now, I am alone again, with my gadgets, with Eve and stuffs, well, that sucks.

I finished packing my things for school, and yes, I also got the normal school stuffs with me such as notebooks, paper and those kinds, and also normal pens that does not paralyze anyone. I stood up and I headed to the door, and to the outside world. Oh well, here it comes. #FirstDayOfSchool, #Whyyy
