91 LET ME GO!!

Salvia nodded at them with an aura of a Queen and soon entered one of the cars along with Violet. The other car was taken by Jacob and unconscious Alyssa along with other soldiers flanking Jacob from left and right. The space inside the car had become cramped.

Soon, they all drove to the main facility building.

Alyssa groaned and opened her eyes. The light surrounding her was very bright. She instantly closed her eyes and once again tried to open it.

White.

She was greeted with whiteness surrounding her.

Alyssa once again closed her eyes to wrack her brain to think clearly.

Pieces of last night's event came flashing through her memories.

She was poisoned by the silver.

And now she is surrounded by white. Well, to be exact, she is in a white room.

"Am I dead?" she murmured in a low voice.

But soon she got the answer to her question when she looked at her hands.

Several transparent tubes was connecting to both of her hands. And one of them was particularly visible to her eyes, because instead of transparent, it was red.

Alyssa instantly look upwards and saw a big plastic pouch in which her blood was dripping.

Enraged Alyssa tried to remove the tubes attached to her hand but soon realized that her hands, her feet even her neck was strapped to the bed.

Alyssa struggled hard to release herself from these binds but it was useless. She took a deep breath to calm herself down and looked around her. maybe she would find something that will help her.

She was lying on what seemed like a hospital bed with nothing in her vicinity except a stand on which the blood pouch was hanged.

Soon she heard a beeping sound coming from somewhere. Instantly a nurse came running inside along with a doctor.

The doctor seemed to be in his late twenties. He was wearing a white polo shirt over which he was wearing the lab coat.

The nurse removed the blood pouch from the stand.

It was then Alyssa realized that the sound was coming from the stand indicating that the required blood is collected.

But soon Alyssa was taken aback when she saw another pouch being attached to the tube.

"Just how many blood do you need in a day?" Alyssa screamed at the duo.

"Good morning Miss Alyssa. I am your doctor, Dr Evans. We see that you could easily provide two-litre of blood daily without fainting. So, we are going to take your blood. Please cooperate with us nicely." He said with a gentle expression on his face as if he wasn't asking for her blood forcefully.

"H… How do you know that?" She asked curiously.

"Well, we tested it." Dr Evans said proudly.

"Like theoretically?" Alyssa questioned.

"No we tested it practically." Dr Evans said with a frown.

Alyssa was startled. How come she never realized a test was being conducted on her.

"Just how long I am here?" Alyssa panicked.

"Around three days. This is your fourth day." Without Alyssa asking any question, Dr Evans explained everything to her. "You were poisoned by silver, so the first day we have to clear your blood. Then we started drawing your blood from the second day. At the first day we went ahead and under the instruction of our boss, we took a bit more than necessary." Dr Evans said guiltily.

"How much is a bit more?" Alyssa questioned.

"Around five-litre."

Alyssa sucked a deep breath after hearing his words.

Werewolves are different from humans. They can regenerate blood instantly, unlike humans that takes three months for the regeneration of the blood.

Total amount of blood inside a werewolf is somewhat the same as that of human, which is eight to nine litres. If a werewolf wants, he can donate around four hundred millilitres of blood each day and eight hundred millilitres of blood once a week. But here they want Alyssa to give away two litres of blood daily, which is fatal to any werewolf. And they had already taken five litres of blood one day. Now Alyssa understood why so many tubes were attached to her. it was to practically bring her back from the brink of death.

"Are you insane?" Alyssa roared at the doctor.

"You are quite healthy, so trust me nothing will happen to you." He then gave Alyssa a small polite smile.

Dr Evans then instructed the nurse to remove all the extra tubes attached to Alyssa's body.

"Release these binds too," Alyssa said calmly.

She was shocked at how calm she was behaving even when the situation was not in her favour.

Dr Evans hesitated a little and said, "Sorry I can't do that. I am instructed to keep you strapped."

This angered Alyssa.

"LET ME GO!!!!" she yelled at the doctor as loud as she could.

Suddenly she felt a foreign feeling passing through her body. She looked at the nurse beside her and then at the syringe in her hand. She was injected with something.

She was drugged!

She tried to move her fingers or lips but soon realized that she was paralyzed.

She couldn't speak and her body shook up and down.

The nurse that was close to Alyssa got startled at the scene.

Dr Evans instantly rushed towards her and injected something else in her body while glaring at the nurse the whole time. Soo, Alyssa's body stabilized and she went back into a deep slumber.

"What were you thinking?" Dr Evans roared at the nurse.

The nurse was young and was around twenty years of age.

Seeing her crush being angry at her legs wobbled and tears started dropping from her eyes.

"I… I did what Lady Salvia had ordered." The nurse said stammering.

"Dr Evans rubbed her temples to calm himself down. "It's alright Britany, but remember, don't do this again. We need her alive for our experiments. She will be useless if she is dead and of course you will be beheaded. So think before doing something." Dr. Evens said strictly.
