Alyssa had a hint of who had tried to shoot her. She was somewhat sure that it could be Violet or her mother. She knew that her mother is a patient woman. If this attack would have happened after six or so months then she was sure that it was her mother.

Leaving her mother, the next person to hate her the most was Violet. She had lost her reputation and her easy way of fame through Leonard, because of Alyssa.

But she didn't have any proof regarding them to confirm her suspicions. Whoever they were, they were, they were very precautive.

Alyssa tried finding some exchange messages or any CCTV footage but everything came to a dead end.

It seemed that her opponents have gone stronger and more secretive. They know that she had some power over them by knowing their secrets. That's why this time they had not use any digital routes of contacting or planning their schemes.

Alyssa sighed and closed her laptop. If she had to find the culprit and to overtake them, this time she had to follow the old school method.

Alyssa dressed herself as a schoolgirl and put a school uniform to revisit that place again.

At the Fate Alley, Alyssa observed the positions of CCTV cameras along the road leading to the Garrison Restaurant. She then went into a café and sat there observing any strange people or vehicles approaching that place.

But there was none.

Her enemy is a clever one. They had taken all the roads that didn't have CCTV cameras and remain hidden at the blank spot. They have strategically avoided Alyssa's radar.

Alyssa closed her laptop and started loving outside of the café thinking about her plan. She liked keeping everything under control. She also knew that she had become too dependent on the internet and her hacking skills that she had forgot to observe the people around her. this incident was a backlash for her and was also a proof saying that old school is always the best.

She was in deep thoughts when she heard an argument between people from the outside.

There was a man in tattered clothes, arguing with the police officers over something.

The face of the man seemed a bit familiar to Alyssa. She rummaged through her memory to find the identity of the man.

She focused her attention on their argument.

"This is the last token of remembrance left by my wife. Please don't take it." the man with tattered clothes pleaded.

In response, One of the police officer punched him in the face.

The man was hit but he stubbornly kept holding the token in his hands.

"He is a tough nut to crack." The other policemen said laughing.

"I am asking you one more time, where did you get this pendant?" The first police officer questioned angrily.

"I told you it is mine." The man said in frustration.

"Wasn't this belong to your wife just a while ago?" the police man said sarcastically.

He had dug his own grave.

"My wife's." the man said with hope.

"Hahaha. You should decide first whose this belongs to." The policeman said laughing at him.

"Maybe you should tell us the name of the owner of this pendant." Another police man said.

"Forget it, he might have stolen it from someone else."

"Now this is trouble. Now we have to find the owner of this lost pendant. God, what a mess."

"Who told you to find any owner. It is a stolen good and it doesn't belong to anyone. My daughter's birthday is in a week, I will gift this pendant to her. the pendant will have a new owner and our problem will be solved too." the other police man said excitedly.

The man's face paled when he heard their conversation. This pendant was his. It truly belonged to his dead wife.

Alyssa too was looking at them and she too had heard the conversation between the policemen.

Suddenly her eyes zeroed on the pendant and two images overlapped with each other. She had seen this pendant. This pendant belonged to that pregnant lady whose house she had visited half a year ago.

****************************************

Alyssa always had an inferiority complex, to begin with, but when compared with Reinhard she felt so weak and unimportant. She believed that she had neither beauty nor brains and neither status to match Reinhard. She wasn't even capable to stand by his side.

Now she was feeling depressed.

She plopped on her bed and kept staring at the ceiling.

Suddenly her phone rang, showing an incoming call from Dianna.

Alyssa groaned before picking up her call.

"What is it, Dee?" She said even though she knew why was she calling her.

"What is it? Seriously Allie. You are asking me this?" Dianna said in mock anger.

"What? I don't understand. What are you referring to?" Alyssa said feigning innocence.

Dianna scoffed.

"What is going with you and Reinhard Allie? And don't give me that 'nothing' bullshit. I can practically feel your's lust towards him."

Alyssa was once again reminded of her kiss and those indecent thoughts that were running in her mind. once again her body started feeling warm and electricity passed through from one region of her body to another making her blush.

"N... Nothing is going on." Alyssa stammered.

"Did you two make out already?" Dianna exclaimed in surprise.

Friends are an important part of our life and best friends are our life. they practically know about everything happening in each other's life even more than the parents.

It is a boon but it can be annoying sometimes.

Especially when they start teasing about the relationship that is still in the confusion phase.

Alyssa groaned in annoyance.

"Shut up Dee. I have to sleep. I am hanging up." Without any further duo and without waiting for any reply from Dianna, she hung up her phone.

Once again her phone rang and she picked up without seeing the caller id.

"I didn't kiss him. Ok. We were just talking." She shouted on the mouthpiece.

"You kissed someone?" Alyssa heard a surprised voice from the other side. Instantly she looked at the caller id and saw that this call was from Noah.

'Shit.'

"You left me hanging just to kissed somebody," Noah said angrily.

'Not again' Alyssa exclaimed in her heart.

"No, Noah, I have something urgent that's why I left early. Sorry about that." She pleaded.

"You know how worried I was when I heard the gunshots and could not find you anywhere. even your phone was unreachable." Noah said frustratedly.

Alyssa raised her eyebrows in surprise.

She took the common passage from Fate Alley to Royal City, and as far as she knows, network condition is alright at that place.

'It could be the work of Reinhard.' She concluded.

'But why would he do so?'

'To keep our sweet quality time undisturbed.' Her inner voice answered.

Alyssa blushed and cleared her throat to hide her awkwardness.

"I am so sorry Noah. I know I should have contacted you." Alyssa said apologizing.

"Did you really kiss someone?" Noah said diverting the question from another topic.

"W... what is wrong with you?" Alyssa sighed.

"Go to sleep Noah." She said and hung her phone.

Today was a long day for her but even after that, she felt sleeplessness.

*******

On the other side, beside Reinhard, someone else was sleepless too.

Violet rushed to her mother's study room to see several men standing there in a row.

Her mother was sitting on the chair with deep in thoughts.

Violet walked towards her mother and knelled in front of her.

It was her that had ordered Salvia's men to attack Alyssa. She haven't realized that her action would bring her mother in jeopardy.

Her mother, Salvia had constantly reminded her that they would take action against Alyssa soon, but it would be her that will take the action after much planning.

But Violet being Violet, as usual, ignored her mother's advice. She was getting impatient after waiting for so long. Whenever she would open the internet she would find netizens comparing her with Alyssa. They would criticize her and praise Alyssa. It was too much for her to take.

Violet had thought that maybe after one month people will stop comparing them and will forget about the incident. But she was wrong.

The netizens had made their motto to compare both of their lives.

The Life of A Real Princess Vs Life of A Fake Princess.

They thrashed her and it was taking a huge toll on her to maintain her calm.

So, she decided to take the action in her own hands.
