Chapter 248: The Divine death was brought

The Divine totem drops to the ground upon impact. It created cracks on the ground, which in terms created a glow of aura from those cracks. He flew a few feet from where he was standing to the ground, but he was still lucky that the Divine totem that Zia Tengfei have used quickly healed him. When Qin Shanyuan saw how Li Xiaosheng got hit by the claw of the type of ground rat, she then charged forward.

When she gets close to the ground rat, she immediately raised her shield which to defend herself from the two incoming claw attacks of the ground rat. The type 2 ground rat roared loudly. As seems to signal, the other type 2 ground rat to retreat. But it did not last long as Jin pressed the trigger and shuts down the roaring type 2 ground rat.

The APC stopped at a gas station, and Jin was the first one to step out of the APC. He looked around and then tapped a button on his left chest and a vizor appeared on his left eye, with that his night vision appeared.

"Boys, stay alert. We are camping here but I want everyone to secure the perimeter before we unpack our tents." JIn ordered, and the rest followed his command. Cai Dinxiang and Wen Xin check the south of their perimeter.

Li Xiaosheng and Qin Shanyuan moved to the north of the gas station to check the perimeter. Fang Shirong and Zia Tengfei go to the east to check their perimeter, and Dai Lanfen created his 8 puppet golems and move to the west of their perimeter to check and secure.

While Jin was on the left back at the gas station to refill the gas of the APC. He slung his FXR-Raven to his shoulder as he grabbed the hose release of the gas post. He walked towards the rear end of the APC when he suddenly heard some footsteps.

He quickly pulled out his Magma pistol and turned around at the same time he was already aiming at the head of a type 3 ghoul with spiked at its back and huge sharp teeth that were ready to bite. Added with that the bloody long claws of the ghoul.

"This will be one hell of adventure, I say," JIn stated before pulling the trigger of the magma pistol. *BANG* followed the gunshot the type 3 ghoul dropped to the ground, but it stood back up again and roared.

Jin did not hesitate to pull the trigger again, and that is what he did. He pulled the trigger again and with that, the Magma pistol bullet ultimately burns the type 3 ghoul. But It was burning it was shrieking in a terrible noise which then followed by 2 explosion from the south.

From that, Jin knows that the perimeter is not secured. Jin immediately put the gas hose into the gas hole of the APC and start to refill the gas of the APC.

Then another explosion erupted, but this time it was coming from the north. Jin goes on top of the APC and tries to scope on what is happening. Then he pressed the comms that were on his neck.

[Radio: This is T1 status report over]

[Radio: This is North. We are currently in engagement with Lone spiked Wolves and Ghouls over.]

[Radio: This is South. We are also currently engaging hostile Lone Spiked Wolves over.]

[Radio: This is East. The perimeter here is clear over.]

[Radio: This is west of the perimeter here is clear over.]

[Radio: This is T1 for all elements that I will order. I want east to join to the north and west to join south over]

[Radio: Copy that T1 we are heading North]

[Radio: T1 copy we are heading south]

"Damn, we are getting surrounded by this type 2 ghouls and type 2 Lone Spiked wolves." Li Xiaosheng raised his sword while looking at the Lone Spiked Wolves that were growling at him. He then whispered "Last Sword Call".

From that his whisper his sword let out a soft pink glow and a pinkish aura. Which he felt that his power and damage have increased. "Now we are going to 4 Lone Spiked Wolves, and 3 type 2 ghouls, so which one will be the first target Qin Shanyuan" Li Xiaosheng asked.

Qin Shanyuan have raised her shield and put her sword on the side of the shield. "Well, let's take on what is the easy to be dealt with" and then Fang Shirong suddenly arrives while whispering "Deceive"

4 of his clone appeared behind him and engaged the 3 type 2 ghouls. "Well, I guess the ones you are saying are the 4 Lone Spiked Wolves." Li Xiaosheng exclaimed and charged forward. And when he charged forward, the 2 Lone spiked wolves across him also charged forward.

Li Xiaosheng smiled as the 2 lone spiked wolves leaps towards him. Li Xiaosheng swings his sword while whispering "Whirling of Destruction" after he swings his sword.

3 tornadoes appear. With that, the 2 Lone spiked wolves could not reach Li Xiaosheng when they leap forward, but they spin far from Li Xiaosheng and then slamming themselves onto a concrete wall which added damage and stun.

While the last tornado headed towards the other 2 who were at the back. But because of the first two that attacked, the other 2 from behind dodge the tornadoes heading towards them.

Qin Shanyuan saw what Li Xiaosheng did and said, "Don't waste precious skill on weaklings. Let me show you how it supposed to be done by a real swordsman." She said, bragging her skills to Li Xiaosheng.

Li Xiaosheng looked shocked at what she said and laughed while she looked at Qin Shanyuan in charge towards to one of the Lone Spiked wolves. The Lone spiked wolves growled and charged forward.

But the Lon Spiked Wolf that Qin Shanyuan was facing did not jump. But Qin Shanyuan thought it will leap onto her.

From that miscalculation, she did not expect that the other one will be the one that will leap onto her. But because of a flying poison dagger. The Lone Spiked Wolf that was in midair heading towards Qin Shanyuan's back got brought down by 2 poisoned daggers coming from Fang Shirong.

The lone spiked wolf squirm from the poison effects but because of the poison spreading all throughout the body got disable and paralyze the Lone spiked wolf. Making unable to breathe and pump blood, that is how the poison of the dual daggers of Fang Shirong offers. From that, Fang Shirong looked at Li Xiaosheng, who amazed by his skills.

Fang Shirong looked at Li Xiaosheng and said, "What are you looking at? You supposed to be fighting with her. We are already done with the ghouls." Because of their too much focus on the Lone spiked wolves, they did not expect that Fang Shirong already finished the ghouls.
