Chapter 244: Broken pieces are still broken

"Ughkk I can't breathe-" the said leader dropped to the ground while the rock boulder rolled on him. "Help!" the Black Armored Knight that was beside the squad leader shouted as he needs to pull the body of the Squad leader to side to take cover from the bullets that were keep firing on their cover.

"Dammit, where is the Medical Specialist. I NEED A MEDIC HERE!" the black armored knight looked at the face of their squad leader. But from the face of the squad leader were the signs of blood coming out of the squad leader's mouth, which is a sign of internal bleeding.

The Medical specialist heard the yell from the other side, but because of the intense firefight and the explosion, he could not make it on time. So he signalled the Black Armored knight that was with the Squad leader to stop and fight.

Jin was walking down the hallway when he noticed that all the soldiers were running towards Area 1 and 2. "It seems there is a disaster bring brewed." He stated after that he let out a sigh of relief before opening the door for the barracks of the first group where Han Zian and Fang Shirong were staying.

When he entered, he saw that the two were already asleep from the beer they have drink. "It smelly here but it seems they want to relax so I will going to let them be for now,"

Jin said, then turning around and leaving the barracks room. When he was about to open the room, he then notices that the increase of soldiers running increased drastically. The alerts started ringing as if something important has come up.

And when he stepped out there, he sees the other users in the group were also walking in the hallway. And when they saw Jin was walking in their direction, all of them stopped. "Hey why did you stop?" Li Ye shouted, and tapped Wen Xin Shoulder. Wen Xin replied quickly and said "What are you saying the Squad leader is right in front of me" Wen Xin tried to turn around but they already got caught.

"What are you guys doing did I ordered all of you to be at the barracks and rest?" Jin said as he looked at each one of them while behind him was running candidates that were half trained while wearing their suits.

"Sir, we are just looking around as you said, sir. This is our rest. And then we saw a lot of Black Armored knights," Cai Dinxiang stated while standing at attention while the others were lumpy while standing.

"I am going to talk to each one of you. So much better go back to the barracks," Jin ordered, and all of them turned around and strolled back to their barracks. As they keep staring at the Black Armored Knights that were running pass by them.

"Where do you think those Black Armored knights are going?" Li ye asked Dai Lanfen which was walking in front of him. "Why are you asking me? We are in the same boat here?" She replied while walking inside the barracks. Jin was there to close the door, and then the pressure in the room increases.

"Now,I have received an order coming from the Safe Zone Echo. They are currently re enlisting me to their program under the Player Battalion of N.D.A.M which also they know each one of you, including the Red blood Armored Knights. Now I am giving you a chance if you want to continue to the profession I am in or you want to leave this kind of profession away from danger. Don't worry, I will give you the cut you are supposed to receive. It won't be enough, but it can make you have a small business and live peacefully." Jin sit on the chair and looked at each of the candidates in front of him. He crossed his arms and then added, "For those who want to leave, please form a line and I will trade the money that I have received and it will be your cut."

The first one to stand up was Li Ye. He gulped, but he was too afraid to say it out loud that he wants to quit. As each step he walked towards Jin, the pressure keeps getting stronger.

His knees started trembling, but after a few more steps, he reached Jin and then Jin smiled and said, "You are one of the remarkable candidates thank you" with that calm, expression the pressure that he was receiving from Jin vanished. Li Ye because he is a user, Jin needs to buy a red card to transfer Player's money to a user.

After buying the red card from the global market, he then transferred the amount of 50,000 gold on the red card before handing it to Li Ye, who was standing in front of him. Li Ye grab the card and leave the room as he already has packed the things he needed. After that, Jin once again leans back and watches the candidates. "I forgot this will not be an entire day, so for those who want to leave, then you are free."

After 2 hours of waiting, there was no one that wanted to leave the group because of how generous Jin was to them. As he was the one who became their savior and the one who gave them knowledge how to fend off themselves. Jin stood up and turns around. "Treat yourselves and don't give a damn about those alarms. We are no longer under their command, so don't expect you to order around." Jin said before leaving the room.

"So Li Ye really left us huh" Dai Lanfen stated before heading towards her locker and grabbing a towel, same with Wen Xin who grab his towel that was a place beside him before heading towards the bath.

Meanwhile, Jin head back to the barracks where Han Zian and Fang Shirong were lying on the ground. Jin opened the door and luckily, both of the guys were already awake. "You two, we are going into a meeting," Jin stated, and the two stopped what they doing and looked at Jin.

"Well, this will be one of a roller coaster I guess." Han Zian commented and Fang Shirong smiled. "That is because we are going back to enlistment. They have recalled me back and so are your names called. We are heading back to Safe Zone Echo, the new Safe Zone Delta."

Jin said those words with seriousness, and both Han Zian and Fang Shirong turned silent. "So we are going back there and going to reenlist. But what if I don't want to go back there, Sir? Is there a way?"

Han Zian stated while looking down at the floor. "Ah well, I give you the cut we have paid and then I can put your name there as dead and then have a new life," Jin looked at Han Zian. "So Han Zian will be dead and a new name should be reborn then how much are you going to give me?" Han Zian asked Jin. "Well that will be 200,000 Gold for your contribution on this battle and for the other battles" Jin said as he sat on the chair.

"So guys I am giving you a head up on what will happen to us and to the group on the side there was one person that left us and it was Li Ye, I did not expect him to leave but well experience and what happened brings a lot of stress. But I hope you two will stay by my side" Jin looked at Han Zian and Fang Shirong.

"Sir, we have been by your side for the past battles but because of the loss of the two of good family members I think we cannot bear the stress anymore especially when Qiao Jiao death"

Han Zian looked down the floor, he clenched his fist and tried to stop his tears from falling but he can't his tears drip on cheeks and falls to the floor. Meanwhile, Fang Shirong looked at Jin and said, "Sir, I will stay in the group, as I have nowhere to go. Even if I go back to my town, I am sure it's already infested with monsters"

Then Jin replies to what Han Zian has said to him. "That is fine, then come and Ill trade you the money that you need to have. Thank you very much that you have helped us," Jin stated, and Han Zian walked towards Jin stood in front of him, saluting. And then a trade window appeared in front of Han Zian.

And then Jin input the money on the trade and Han Zian accepted before that, Han Zian hugged Jin. After that, Han Zian turns around and grabs the bag that he has packed and leave the room. Jin then stood up and tap Fang Shirong's shoulder and then said, "Thank you very much and I will see you"

Jin then turns around, walking out of the room while Fang Shirong was feeling down. "Oh yeah, you need to reset for that feeling of your loss from Qi Meili. I know you have liked her but sadly the things went down. The office is open. You can still have a chance until tomorrow." Jin then closed the door and walks out.

[General Directorate]

"Sir, the Black Armored knights from the North, East sectors have been destroyed. 4 of our tanks have got destroyed." One communication officer reported as he turned around looking at the Head communication officer. "Sir, the Diplomat of the Safe Zone Alpha is not connecting with us."

The Head communication officer clenched his fist. "Therefore, I don't enjoy pulling the SQUAD out of the battle," he whispered before walking back to the staff table.
