Chapter 229: Headless and heartless

"That was a good shot sir," Li Ye commented as he step inside of the elevator. "We need to finish the battle or else we are going to get surrounded."

Jin replied as he pushed the DU button when all of them are already inside of the elevator. The elevator door opens a sound of a bell ring. 4 Lion Pride soldiers looked at the group of Jin. But Jin did not hesitate and aimed at the 4 Lion pride soldiers and instantly pulled the trigger.

2 got shot in the head while they shot the other 2 in the heart. They all walked out of the elevator. But this time, there is a single hallway and at the end, there are 2 paths, either left or right.

"I want users to go to the right, players on the left with me," Jin ordered, and lead the entire troop ahead. And when they reach the end, they split up. The left side hallway was full of offices. On the right side is a blank hallway with 3 doors. Ahead and the both sides. Jin rushed towards the middle door, and tried to open it and when he opened it, he saw there were a lot of Lions of pride soldiers and rebel cell minions that were gearing up.

He looked back at Li Xiaosheng and Qin Sanyuan and said, "Check the other doors move" Quickly Li Xiaosheng opened the right door and sees a monitor and communications. On the Qin Shanyuan side, there are also cameras and monitors.

Jin closed the door and ordered the others to also closed the others. "Right, Li Xiaosheng and Qin Shanyuan. The 3 communication officers stood up. It frightened them when they saw their mate sitting on the chair and half of the body got sliced. "Please have mercy. We are just recruited to work. We are not part of any organization that runs thi-" and Jin pulled the magma pistol trigger. "Don't waste your time on their plead. They are the one who did this to their selves. They should face the responsibility of joining the enemy"

Li Xiaosheng nodded and decapitate the other communication monitors and servers that were all across the room, same with the wiring. Li Xiaosheng saw an alarm wire, so he slashed it with his sword. With that, the entire place did not alert or alarm because of what Li Xiaosheng have done. He whispered "Global Market" and a tab appeared in front of him and type on the search bar.

"Explosive ordinance" and there he saw multiple packages of explosive ordinance and buy 3, which cost around 50,000 gold. "Time to blow an entire room hehe" Jin pushed the button of the Explosive ordinance and walked towards the door and opened it. When he opened it, he saw there are Lion pride soldiers sprinting towards the stairs. And with that, he throws the explosive ordinance on the person at the front.

After 20 seconds, they heard an explosion inside the middle room. It also vibrated the hallway, which is also felt on the other side. There then followed black smoke exciting from the space at the bottom and upper of the floor. And because of that, the other communication room opened its door. They did not know when they opened the door a sword strike immediately came bearing down on them, slashing their faces and stabbing their chest. The sword of Qin Shanyuan as she grips its hand and swings her sword. It easily cuts through the enemy's flesh like butter.

The communication officer tried to stop Qin Shanyuan, but they cannot handle the force that Qin Shanyuan had. And in the end, their bodies lay on the ground bloodied and their blood spreading through the mattress on the floor. Qin Shanyuan turns around and walks out of the room.

On the other side, "It looks like they are having fun on the other side, I felt that vibration earlier and it seems it was an explosion." Li ye commented as he opened the door and let Cai Dinxiang burn the Lion Pride officer that was sitting on his chair. "The Squad leader, sir, to take necessary information so we better not burn the papers," Wen Xin added as he saw the Lion pride officer was being burned to a crisp.

While Li Ye and Cai Dinxiang were taking care of the lion pride officer in each of the offices. Dai Lanfen and Wen Xin were the one who take care of the important files that they can take and get some vital information out of it. They all finished the 5 rooms that were on the side, so they rushed to the other side of the hallway where the proper fight was happening.

When they reach the other side, they opened the door, and when they opened the door, they saw the entire room inside covered in thick black ashes from the fire that happened earlier. Jin and the others have already checked the place, and it was perfectly clean. They also have planted the explosives, so they need to move. The users turn their backs and walk back to the elevator. They thought that there will be more killings for them, but the room that Jin and the players entered got cleared.

"Damn, I want some fighting, but when I am in battle, damn, I am scared for my life." Wen Xin stated as they were walking towards the elevator. And when they reached the elevator, all the people in the back were laughing. Even their squad leader was smiling and laughing. "That was a good joke." Jin said as he walked first inside the elevator and standing near the buttons of the elevator.

When all of them have entered the elevator, Jin pressed the 1st floor so that they can leave the place and collapse the entire building and the destroy the underground base. Jin was still skeptical from the building they had entered, as if there was more to the building and they did not discover it.

When the elevator door opened, Jin ordered, "No One is stepping out of the elevator. And it stopped all of them and the door closes. Soon enough, with no one pushing any button, the elevator goes down on its own. "Like what I have to imagine, there is still something I notice back at the DU and when I raided the room with explosive, there are only few bodies. And when we counted it back, it was around 10 Lion Pride soldiers. Now that there is something more in this underground barracks of these rebel cells. And when the elevator door opens it, the first thing they saw was dirt. And a small light lamp.

"Sir, these seems like we hit the tunnel of their training." Dai Lanfen commented as she grips her hand. And Jin ordered, "stay quiet and be vigilant. And then they hear an echo of voice, so Jin stepped out from the elevator and looks around. There are two ways left and right. And like the whole tunnel have light lamp.

"If this is their training place, it surely damn heavy physical training," Cai Dinxiang said as he stepped out. "We are moving as a group. No one will get their curiosity strikes or else we are going to pay for it," Jin reminded them as he looked back.

"Sir, why are we destroying underground barracks again?" Wen Xin asked, and Jin turns around and look at him because we are ordered to and we need money to come back to Safe Zone Delta. Oh Yeah, we are mercenaries.

We got paid for doing this battles" Jin then leads them to the tunnels and then they all stopped when they heard chants and jogs. Soon they found themselves in the entrance of a real entire barracks of Rebel cell minions and Black Lion Pride Base training camp.

"How did they do all of this in just?" It shocked Dai Lanfen to herself, as she did not expect some kind of base training camp built underground. "It is simple. They have been planning this barracks before the ULTIMA CHANGE or while the World government is bust fighting, they are merging their forces into this kind." Jin answered Dai Lanfen questions.

So Jin turns around and said, "I need damage for a full force from here down there. Cai Dinxiang will throw fireballs from here down there to create a diversion while Wen Xin will scatter your smoke, then swarm them with your bugs. Dai Lanfen, you will take on the vanguard as your puppets will guard our damaging forces.

Li Xiaosheng and Qin Shanyuan you will be on the attacking force while Zia Tengfei will be at your back. Li Ye, you will take on our rear and check. As of now, you are on the rear guard because I can trust you from our weakness. Does everyone understand the current objectives?"
